About this property

This spacious two story home is nestled in a quiet historic neighborhood at the base of Diamond Head. The second story has a long lanai with views of Diamond Head. This home has 3 bedrooms with a study that can also be used as a bedroom. All bedrooms are air conditioned. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and an attached study that has a queen sized bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and bedroom 3 has a full size bed. The backyard has a weber gas grill and an outdoor dining set. The downstairs has two large living rooms, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen breakfast nook, and laundry area. Everything you need to feel right at home. White sand beaches are just a short walk from the house with great swimming. We have mask and snorkels, body boards, a large cooler and beach chairs all for your convenience at the house. Waikiki is a nice leisurely stroll along the ocean and beautiful Kapiolani park. This home is close enough to all the action Waikiki has to offer but also far enough away from it all when you just want to relax. The location is very central in terms of getting around the island and sightseeing as well.

Great location, huge comfortable space

Our family really enjoyed our stay over spring break. The location can't be beat -- walking distance to small & quiet beaches as well as the bustle of Waikiki beach, restaurants, water activities, shopping, etc; also centrally located so not too long of a drive when we opted to venture out to Oahu's other regions (North Shore, Leeward Coast, Windward Coast). The house itself is spacious, each of us had our own bed, and came with all the creature comforts of a "tropical" home (A/C, fans, outdoor area w/ clothesline, internet, TV, laundry, full kitchen, parking for 2 cars). The house has some snorkel gear but we opted to rent our own since we had some first-timers (so wanted to ensure proper fits) as well as folks who needed prescription masks. Maggie was super responsive and helpful when we inadvertently locked ourselves out one night. We would love to stay again when we return to Oahu!

Family vacation

Pleasant and comfortable stay. Felt like home. Very spacious and included great amenities- beach chairs/mats, beach toys, beach towels, cooler, sunblock, sun hats, etc. House was close to the park and down to the beach- we would always take our mornings around the area. I would definitely stay here again with family. Thank you!

Diamond Head Get Away!

This Historic Residence was spacious for our family vacation, grandparents, parents and two children, 10 and 7. The house is just outside of Waikiki and walking distance to Kaimana Beach. Trade winds made the stay comfortable, hardly used the AC. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, even though we ate at many of the local restaurants. Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope to return again later this year. Mahalo!

Convenient location

The house is nice and roomy. It is an easy walk to a beach and a comfortable walk to Waikiki beach and shopping. The host, Maggie, was great. Within an hour of checking in we managed to lock ourselves out! I reached out to her and then we walked to Barefoot Beach Bar for dinner. By the time we had finished, 9 PM on Saturday, she had reached out and had someone get us in! Stayed for a week, very pleasant.
