Perfect for our family

Located in a great location. Quiet and neighbors were friendly. Close to shops and stores. Jacuzzi was a great bonus.

A very quiet area

Might wake up to birds chriping because its the loudest noise in the neighborhood hot tub was very nice and the driveway was nice

Christmas need

The house fit our need of 1 story, 2 bedrooms, and 2 baths. Some items have needed to be repaired for months ( based on previous reviews). House was clean. At check in, there was such a strong odor of whatever cleaner was used. After 30 minutes, l had a headache. The odor was gone the next morning. I would stay there sgain.

Better than expected

Check-in and entrance easy. Very spacious and clean. (Except spider webs outside) Everything worked TV, washer/dryer, WiFi stove etc . Would definitely rent again.

Overall a great place!

Local to several things to do, i.e., outlets, golfing, beaches, parks, dining, colosseum, etc. the photos don't do the house any justice. The place is absolutely beautiful. There are a couple bumps and bruises, or were if they've been fixed, I'm not sure. But the small issues were no match for the great price and the location of the home. Our family had a blast and the property manager was easy to get ahold of. Wonderful experience and highly recommend 😊

Don't rent this place.

First thing we noticed upon arriving was that the top of the light house in the driveway was broken off and setting in front of the garage door on the ground. We walk into having to clean the whole house. table and counters were dirty. Inside fridge door, all shelves were broken. Blinds in bedroom and living room were broken. Both king mattresses had no mattress protectors on them and were completely stained with urine and blood. Bathroom door appeared to have been kicked in and broken. Tried to wash the linens but the washer was broken. Internet was not available as advertised And last but not least, the AC stopped working while we were there. By the time we got things settled with VRBO it was 9pm and had to find our own place to stay for the rest of our week.

Was a lovely stay

The listing was clean and had everything we needed. Neighborhood was clean and quiet. Host was very responsive and accommodated our stay to our needs. We would recommend this listing to anyone and everyone. There’s a fire pit in the back yard, a deck with a charcoal grill, hot tub was amazing, and we didn’t see any bugs or roaches or creepy crawlers during our entire stay. Hot water and good water pressure!

Charming house in quiet neighborhood

Beds were comfortable, jacuzzi and large shower in the Master Bedroom was a plus! Kitchen was very functional as we stayed in for breakfast each morning. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future! Just wished we had better weather during our visit (rained all weekend)!

The place was infested with roaches! Had to get a hotel and cut our vacation short because they didnt have a room for the whole vacation. Not refunded whole amount. Not very accommodating. Never had a problem before. Spraying one time does not get rid of a infestation. Thanks for a ruined vacation

Nice option for a long weekend getaway!

We stayed here for a long weekend trip to visit family in Norfolk and to explore the Hampton/VA Beach/Norfolk area. It was the perfect size for our family and a great location for all the activities we did! The host responded quickly to any of my messages and was very delightful. I will say, if he is using a professional cleaning company, he should definitely look for a new one. We found several old food wrappers shoved under beds, behind sofa pillows, and we had to clean the fan in the master bedroom b/c there was a good amount of dust hanging from the blades. The house surfaces were clean but there could have been more attention paid to detail. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Roaches run

The owner was nice. But they have roaches. It appeared to be clean to the eyes. When I walked in my nose was itchy and burning and I couldn’t understand why. Well I’m sensitive and can smell anything. Roaches have a scent and can bother people who have allergies. We went to cook and my daughter turned the water on and a roach came out the sink. Then we saw them in the kitchen drawer, on the bathroom wall and on the carpet. Run I should have known they knew they had roaches when I saw that round up insect stuff. I’m sad to see that it is still open for rent they didn’t not treat it. The fridge had a roach in it as well. We left when I saw the roaches. DO NOT STAY HERE you will regret it. I have pictures and messages to prove it as well.

Don't overlook this place!

What a great house! The size and layout is perfect for a family vacation! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is nice and open, TVs and internet worked well. All the amenities needed are there, and the abundance of towels was appreciated - since the hot tub on the screened in porch was by far the best part! Decks all around overlook a quiet marshy area. The house is a little ways from the typical tourist areas, but the neighborhood is delightfully quiet and is an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Hampton. Host was very responsive and helpful. 10/10 would definitely recommend and we'll probably stay here next time we come back!

Worked

Not bad. There were somethings that were messed up from the renters before us is what I was told . I took pictures and sent to the owner. That way we didn't get blamed. We did find dirty sheets on one of the beds. If they have someone who they hire to clean it after every visit. I would find another company. It wasn't a big deal. We took the sheets off and washed them and there was some other little things. Would I stay there again 50/50 shot.

Great weekend

We enjoyed our stay here. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. We were only a few miles from Food Lion and a Harris Teeter grocery store. The beds were quite comfortable as well but hot tub is very large probably enough for at least six
