We had the best time at the cabin over the last week. The cabin is gorgeous, clean, fully stocked (kitchen is wonderful), and the views are fantastic. I would highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a getaway!

Amazing hosts and tranquil location!

My boyfriend and I stayed here to get away for the weekend. I can happily say we got what we came for! From the moment we drove up to the moment we left, Dewlap lodge provided us everything we needed to relax and reset. We enjoyed cooking our own meals in the beautiful kitchen, lighting fires in the wood burning fireplace and soaking in the views while listening to the fire crackle. We were also extremely impressed with how clean everything was and the amazing communication from the host. This is by far the best VRBO rental experience we've ever had and look forward to many more weekends at the lodge.

Cozy girls trip at Dewlap Lodge

Dewlap Lodge was the perfect spot for our girls trip! We spent most of our time in the common areas - cooking together, movie nights and evenings by the fire pit or hot tub. We both really love to cook and the kitchen was incredibly well equipped, and it truly felt like everything had been thoughtfully planned out. The little touches throughout the house went a long way and made the space feel extra special and comfortable. It was cozy, welcoming, and exactly what we were hoping for... already dreaming of coming back!

We had one hell of an enjoyable stay!!! If you’re considering this property then look no further for pure exclusivity, peace & relaxation! This property basically has everything you need(Appliances & utensils) but if you plan on cooking; I do recommend grabbing groceries prior to making that trip up the mountain!!! The details; from the light fixtures on the ceiling to the labels were well arranged and curated to accent the cabins atmospheric vibes! It’s a cozy enough space for an intimate group; We were expecting 6 but 4 was sufficient enough. *Hot tub and fire pit were nice bonuses. Would consider again for future reservation :-)

A mountain getaway

Just wow! This cabin is just perfect. I have stayed at quite a few cabins, and this one is absolutely the best. It’s spacious, the hot tub is beautiful, and the kitchen is stocked with all different types of cookware. If you want to get away and feel secluded, this is the place to be. This cabin has everything you need and more for a wonderful time.

Amazing place

The property was just as billed. It a beautiful place with magnificent views of the mountains. The night sky was amazing! The amenities of the house were all planned well and hospitality was clearly on their mind. The movie room was a major plus!! Would recommend this place to anyone going to Jefferson.

Fabulous Stay during a wedding weekend at Guyton Ranch.

This home is top-notch! We loved everything about it. The furnishings and decor are high-end and pristine. The beds and linens are super comfortable. The owners have added so many special touches to this property. If we could give this rental more than 5 stars, we would.

Perfect Getaway

Host and property was wonderful! Pictures do not do this place justice! Guys had a great time hunting in the area with friends and I had a lovely relaxing home to enjoy. Kitchen was great to cook in, porch was a dream to read and relax with a view and the hot tub was a wonderful ending to our evenings! We will be back next year for sure!

Winter Dream

We had an amazing 8 day stay at Dewlap lodge. This home is absolutely beautiful with such great attention to detail. The Amenities such as fire place, hot tub, stunning scenery made this vacation an absolute winter dream. We felt like we were in a snow globe and didn’t want to leave. The decor is so tastefully done but also so cozy you feel right at home. The views are stunning! I couldn’t say enough great things about the lodge but also the hospitality from Bill and his wife. Truly outstanding! We hope to be able to visit again.

We were very impressed with this houseproperty! It was updated professionally and with quality materials. With some rentals you can see where work was slapped together or the cheapest items were used (faucets, lights, etc)… that is NOT the case here! It felt very fancy and the furniture, linens, and utensils followed that same attention to quality and refined taste. I made notes of many brands used because it was so comfortable and fancy! There was also clear thought put into the details - such as a sound machine in every room, robes for the hot tub, and lanterns for going outside at night. They clearly put a lot of thought into curating a great vacation spot. We also really appreciate not being asked to spend hours housekeeping before checkout, like many VRBOs do. The checkout process was minimal, seamless, and helped us get on the road home at a decent hour! The neighbors we bumped into on walks were friendly and the night were quiet and dark - perfect for stargazing. Thank you for having us!

Most organized and well stocked vacation rental

They have thought of every detail to make your stay wonderful. Things I didn’t even know I needed. In addition to the basics, there was picnic gear (including recommendations where to go), battery operated lanterns and robes to help you navigate to the hot tub or fire pit at night. The fire pit is super warm with plenty of propane. There were nice covers on the chairs so they would be clean and dry when needed. We quickly fell into a routine of coffee on the deck in the morning. Walks or hot tub during the day. Dinner. Watch the sunset. Conversation around the Fire Pit. And a late night movie in the theater room. If you want to see moose, drive slowly to Jefferson Lake at dusk. Saw 5 in one night! Everything was perfect! The house was immaculate!

Absolutely beautiful

This home was easily the best rental we've ever experienced. Bill has not skimped on anything in furnishing this home. From the beds to the kitchen, everything is quality. It was only outshined by the outdoors surrounding the property. Quiet and peaceful with stunning views of the mountains during the day and the stars at night. We were fortunate enough to see a pronghorn antelope on our way out on the last day. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place with us!

We had a wonderful stay at the Dewlap Lodge. The furnishings we beautiful and very comfortable. The view of the mountians were stunning. The kitchen was well stocked with herbs, pans, crockpot, griddle etc. Everything you need to make delicious meals (you just need to buy the food). The beds, bedding and pillows were all top quality and very comfy. It was great place to relax and unwind and spend family time. The jacuzzi was a big plus for me!!

Amazing Mountain Getaway!

My family and I can’t say enough good things about our stay! The house was immaculate and very clean. This house is in a beautiful location with incredible views, which will only get better when the leaves begin to change. The house had everything we needed and more! The attention to detail with this property was remarkable, my wife and I were truly impressed! We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The short drive to Jefferson Lake is worth it; great fishing, hikes for all ages, and seeing wildlife (we saw two Moose!). This was the perfect mountain getaway for my family and I. We will absolutely visit again!

The Perfect Mountain Cabin

Our group of 6 recently enjoyed an unforgettable stay at this cabin. The cabin was spotlessly clean! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. Wonderful and quiet for our family getaway!

We enjoy staying in places more quiet - removed from heavy traffic and lots of people in and out. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Dewlap Lodge as well as all the amenities available. Perfect home base for our adventures over a long weekend - hiking (we did Gibson Lake trail), rope courses (Treehouse Adventure Park), rafting (Royal Gorge Rafting full day and request V as a guide!) and some nights spent around the giant dining table playing strategy games. The bed in the primary was super comfortable - many times places have rock hard/firm beds. This one was both comfortable and supportive and we slept well. My older kids said they slept well too. Great communication and lodge was really well furnished. Enjoyed the large tv for a movie, outdoor seating for the view, hammock (wonderfully relaxing with the aspens whispering) and hot tub. Great instructions covered all questions. Note in the summer it gets warm in home but cools off at night with windows open, plenty of fans, and is expected when AC is not typical in mountains. Washer and dryer appreciated too! Get ice cream (non-dairy options avail!) and burgers at the small storefronts in Jefferson by the entrance. It was all we needed. Thanks!
