The cottage CAN sleep 7 comfortably and 8 if the full sized bed is shared. Prefer bookings with 6 guests or less.

As the sunrise greets you at the break of dawn you watch the magnificent day unfold right from the comforts of your adjustable tempuredic bed in the primary bedroom. At night, you’ll sleep soundly hearing the beautiful sounds of the the waves crashing under the gorgeous moon. WIth special touches around every corner, this thoughtful salt pond home has panoramic 360 views. The warm tones of the wood ceilings and shiplap walls surround you in front of the cozy fireplace. The 2nd "mermaid" bedroom features twin bunks, mermaid art and a whimsical porthole skylight. Adjacent to these bedrooms you'll find a modest 1/2 bath and at the top of the stairs a magically cozy sleeping nook perfect for your first mate! Nestled at the top of the rainbow stairs this fantastical sleeping space has storage and special spots for all of your favorite treasures and peacefully guides you to sleep gazing at the stars through your personal skylight. The open floor plan offers an airy space for everyone on the first floor and makes you feel like you are in a ship with water views all around. The 3rd bedroom features a bunk wih full sized and twin beds ready to share a whale of a tale. The smart tv is ready for you to enjoy movies or your favorite streaming services. Cable is not available but board games are a plenty! The inviting living room features a wood burning stove, the perfect room for game or movie night and our cheery octopus Hank! Outside, you can enjoy the fireworks often seen surrounding the pond or a dreamy fire as you enjoy your favorite wine & cheese and watch the breath-taking cotton candy sunsets! Dine al fresco on either the pondside deck or the private patio. Year round our children enjoy a game of tag or man hunt amongst corn hole, disc golf, badminton or volleyball. If they aren't crabbing off the wall, they are launching the kayaks from the boat launch. If relaxing is what you like, come stay awhile under our beautiful trees in the double hung hammocks. This is the perfect place to relax, unwind and make the memories you have always dreamed off. Just a quick 10 minute walk to Charlestown town beach and 2 minute car ride with private pre paid beach parking provided. This hidden gem is nestled on Allen’s Cove a part of Green Hill Pond that leads out to the ocean! You can even rent a boat at the local marina and clam in Ninigret pond around the corner. Minutes to the famous Matunuck Oyster Bar (try the bourbon oysters or get a dozen fresh from our ponds), try our beloved Dave’s Coffee, or visit the Amazing Umbrella Factory as you shop amongst the local artisans, visit the emus or walk amongst the bamboo trail…there is something for everyone! An easy drive from CT, MA or NY… Your relaxing vacation awaits at Serendipity Point Cottage.

Other things to note:
A beach parking pass is provided to a private lot so beach parking is free for guests! We will allow use of our bicycles, toys and 2 - 1 person kayaks and our double kayak. All use of kayaks must have operators wearing life jackets at all times. The owners will not be held liable and will require a holds harmless signed for use of kayaks. The pond is shallow and not for swimming but adjoining ponds are swimmable. We love to swim, clam and play in Ninigret pond after the bridge.
