1.6 miles from Higgins Lake, a 30-minute walk, 10-minute bike ride or a 4-minute drive to blue waters and sandy beaches.
*Large backyard with firepit, horseshoes and corn hole. The firepit has seating for 8, wood provided. Deck with a large dining set and grill.
*Board games and books for different ages. Beach day kit, including cooler, beach chairs and beach towels.
*Nearby boat rentals at one of the local marinas. Paddleboard and kayak rentals minutes away.
*Golf courses for all skill levels, including one of the top-rated courses in Michigan, Forest dunes, just a few minutes' drive from the house.
*Cross country skiing at the Cross Country Ski Headquarters a half mile away. Downhill skiing, snowboarding and tubing 20 minutes away at Hansen Hills. ORV trails are accessible via the roads from the house. Many great northern Michigan hiking trails in the area.
*The Ausable River is just 5 miles away. Local liveries have canoe, kayak and tube rentals with complimentary shuttle.

Nice little cabin
We enjoyed our stay here. This a perfect stay for four or five people, eight people as listed would be very cramped. The house was very clean throughout. Queen bed not so comfy for us. We had a nice fire with the provided fire pit and wood. Bathroom, sink and shower was very small. Nice supply of Keurig provided coffee.

This little cabin was absolutely dreamy! My whole family loved it and it was perfect for our weekend getaway to Higgins! Definitely our favorite place we’ve ever rented up there!
