Dog Friendly Country Paradise
This studio apartment is located in the Tabor City, NC. It is attached to our home but completely separated and private. It is the perfect combination of quiet country and close to beaches! Only 30 min from North Myrtle Beach. There is a huge fenced in backyard so feel free to bring your fur baby. (We have two dogs of our own on the property but they do not have access to the rental area.) Enjoy the relaxing view of the pond with waterfall feature and all the natural beauty. Want to be able to go to the beach and wind down away from
the crowd? Want to sit on the back deck and stargaze and firefly watch? The apartment features a trundle bed that pulls up to the same height as the bed making it king size or two separate twin beds. There is a Roku TV, walk in closet, kitchenette, washer/dryer, and full bathroom!

My first AirBnb Experience
It was in a beautiful location. Had a warm beach themed decor. The set up of kitchenette and laundry room made it easy to use both rooms at once. Appliciances in this room were great. The living room/bedroom were quite comfortable. The air temperature worked well for me, especially in the extreme heat in Tabor City while I was there.As you can tell I'm quite pleased with my stay.

Country apt attached to Host’s home
This cute apt is perfect for 1 or 2 people. Very reasonably priced. Separate gated entrance. Daybed w/trundle pullout, kitchenette (small fridge w/small freezer, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker) with full size washer & dryer in the kitchenette. There is a nice large bathroom w/standup shower. I was happy because it was pet friendly & I had my dog with me. The host’s do have large dogs so you have to let them know if you need to take your pet into the fenced back yard so they can close off their doggie door.
My trip was last minute (to visit my son in Sunset Beach) so this property is out in the countryside about 35-45 minutes from Sunset Beach, N Myrtle etc. It’s an easy drive though I wish I was able to be closer to the beach.
The host had extra linens but a few better pillows would have been welcome—I usually always bring my own :-). It’s not set up to be glamorous but more comfortable and down-to-earth. Although it could be upgraded if the host desired. There were some light fixtures in process of being installed. There are stairs going up to the good sized deck of the apartment so it’s not wheelchair accessible. But all-in-all a nice stay.
I think a little handbook with guidelines and rules would come in handy for guests. Also adding in things to do in the area like fishing spots, restaurants, stores, food delivery etc. There are some very quaint small towns with interesting old buildings where I stopped to take photos. I’m from Colorado but moved to NC 4 years ago. My dream was to own a house with some land and even as a full time RN in CO, that dream was not possible for me. I found the love of my life and we enjoy being outdoors and gardening.
Why they chose this property
This is a very nice quiet neighborhood where we all know each other and help each other out. Everyone has at least 2 acres, so we all have some good space.
What makes this property unique
We have a beautiful landscaping. Wake up to birds eating out of the feeders and butterflies abound. You can come enjoy your coffee by the pond. Nothing like peace and quiet of the country.
