Sunny chalet vacation apartment with a view of the Jaun valley in the west alps

The Chalet is situated directly on the excellent hiking trails and about 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Jaun Village centre with all necessary shopping for your daily needs, post, Bank, bus station, access to the Vita Parcours (fitness trail) and to the ski lifts, the chair lift and the cross-country trails in the winter.

The next bigger village is Charmey in 10 km distance, the Jaun Pass (about 1550m above sea level. d. M.) 6 km away, with transition to the Bernese Oberland and his further winter sports domains to Gstaad (about 40 minutes drive away).

By car you get easy to the recommended summer destinations on Lake Geneva (Vevey, Montreux, Lausanne) or to the East of Lake Thun with Spiez or Interlaken and the high mountain railway to the Jungfraujoch, both within about an hour.

Other activities:

Summer: Well maintained fitness trail (Vita Parcours), Wellnessbath close (Charmey, 8 km), free swimming in the Lake of Gruyère (15 km) or in the Lake Schwarzsee, also mountain biking and climbing tours possible.

Winter: In the winter, you can go downhill as well as cross-country skiing in Jaun. The well-kept cross-country piste is illuminated until 22:00(10:00p.m.). Three ski lifts and a chairlift, each with base station at the village of Jaun, ski school for beginners and children. By means of the chair lift also leads the 6 km-long toboggan with a difference in altitude of 500 m.

Only 6 km to go to the Jaunpass with other ski slopes, easy to reach by car, and more possibilities within 40 min drive by car to ski resorts in the Bernese Oberland (Rinderberg-Zweisimmen, Gstaad, Saanenmöser, Lenk-Adelboden, among others)

Snow-shoe hikes of Jaun out are possible with the local holiday service.
