We loved the comfortable furniture, (unlike most rentals); even the bed sleeps like home. This property has a kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. The coastal vibes in the decor set the tone for a happy relaxing time. The views overlooking the water are amazing and we enjoyed fishing “in the backyard.” You just can’t get better than that. And a shout out to the proximity to Capt’n Al’s Steak and Seafood—that place has some great food!

Perfect setting for a family gathering. Plenty of room to spread out, cook family meals and play on the water. Had a bit of a hitch with the AC but host took care of it and made it right. Will definitely be back!

Stayed 2 weeks in September 2026. The House on the back bay had "EVERYTHING" and more that we needed to make our Fall vacation a wonderful time. We spent hours on the back deck relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness and beautiful views of Barnard Bayou, unbelievably sunsets and sunrises.The owners supplied kayak's, fishing gear, foosball and even a cornhole game.The convenience and few steps to deck for fishing and boat launch for kayaking was an awesome surprise.The kitchen has everything you need to for preparing large or small meals. You have anything you need for bathing, hand soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, and an abundant supply of towels.If you have a TV watcher, no worries easy friendly TV remotes. Games galore are also supplied. Restaurants, shopping and casinos are a short drive from home. My husband, and family members vacation together twice a year and have been going to Cape San Blas on the Florida Gulf and South Ponte Vedra on Florida's east coast for years. However, we have definitely found a new HAPPY PLACE in Gulfport/Biloxi and the wonderful House on the back bay. We will be back and absolutely stay in this home again if available! 10 STARS if available.
