About this property

Gateway to SLO County with Pickleball & Game Room

Family fun awaits at this 4500 sq feet home base to explore everything that San Luis County has to offer. Originally a log home, the home has been tastefully updated throughout the years and has a spacious open layout. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a theater room, a game room and covered patio. There's something for everyone in the backyard with sports court, fire pit and bocce ball. Walk 2 minutes to 140 acre Nipomo Regional Park with new skate park & tennis and basketball courts.

The game room is set up with a pool table, air hockey, foosball table, and board games. The theater room has 6 seats and 85” TV with surround sound and also has an extra day bed with trundle to accommodate larger groups. The office nook with two desks is a perfect place to stay productive. An outdoor covered patio is set up with outdoor kitchen and BBQ to enjoy a meal while watching the sunset. The backyard features 3000 sq feet a newly installed turf with bocce ball court and a sports court for pickle ball or badminton. A fire pit with seating for 8 to warm up in the evenings overlooks the remainder of the yard with established and newly planted fruit trees.

Layout Description:
Upper Level: Master Bedroom with King bed, Master Bathroom with shower and bath and office nook.
Main Level: Entry, Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Area, 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bedroom with bunk bed and trundle, and a bathroom with a shower. Covered patio is located off the dinner area.
Lower Level: Game room with seating, movie room with kitchenette & day bed, 1 bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with shower.

Behind the home is the entrance to Nipomo regional park. Please note there is some noise from traffic and also noise from occasional baseball or softballs games. Although the home is equipped with central air due to the nature of log home construction the ducting is not super efficient and the home can run a little hot or cold for the upper level including master room. However, the climate is Nipomo is generally in the 70s and extra floor fans are provided if needed.

Perfect House for a Large family
There was 11 of us traveling, including 5 boys ages 11 to 18. This house was perfect for our stay and was large enough that we could all spread out. The family loved the back yard, BBQ island, pickleball court, and a patio for enjoying the amazing weather. Inside, the basement had everything you could want, theater room, pool table, air hockey, and foose ball table. This house is in a great location, only 15 mins from Pismo Beach and 30 mins from Solvang. There is a grocery Store, gas station, and restaurants minutes away, and if you need anything else Santa Maria is just down the road with a Costco, Walmart, Target, and so much more. Johnny the host was fantastic to work with and he was very accommodating. He was quick to respond and did a great job communicating. We would definitely recommend staying here, and we are hoping to stay here again later in the year when we come back for a wedding. Thank you Johnny, your house was Amazing!
