Enjoy our new Amish-built cabin with all the amenities of home, yet all the peace & quiet you want. We're still close to all that's popular in this area, including festivals & fairs. The space You have complete privacy with beautiful scenery when you stay with us. Enjoy listening to the Whippoorwill's in the morning and evening, and the owls talking to each other at night while gazing at the awesome array of stars. Watch the deer or turkeys graze on the property or hear the bluebirds, cranes, crows and hawks chatter away. Firepit with free firewood for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows while the kids try to catch the lightening bugs! The cabin's bedroom has a brand new queen bed, and the living room area can accommodate another 2 more. Plenty of room for an air mattress if your party is larger than four. Full size kitchen and bathroom provide more than enough space to move around. Guest access Plenty of space to park and if you bring your boat-plenty of space to turn around and plug in to recharge your trolling motor. You're welcome to explore our 20 acres with our 2 creeks (hence the name Between the Waters) and our garden and hen house. You have no other "neighbors" so feel free to explore.
Other things to note Even though you have complete privacy, we live at the back of the 20 acres so we can assist with anything you may need at a moment's notice. The nearest Dale Hollow boat ramp is just a few miles away, and state forest is all around us for hunting. Access to the Cumberland river and it's famous Striper Bass fishing is fairly close by as well. If you don't have a boat, but like to swim, the lake has a few beaches and Standing Stone State Park has a public swimming pool for $6.00/person (Mem'l Day through Labor Day). We have 1 outdoor camera facing the deck steps to ensure our guests safety. This is only viewed if the guest has a concern or if house rules are not followed. We respect your privacy during your stay.

Was a awesome, beautiful, quiet getaway time. Jodi and Steven are wonderful Hosts . Loved the fresh farm eggs she kindly gave us. Overall,,, A Piece of Heaven,,, God's Country But i also love Tennessee mountains
We had a great stay at Between the Waters. It was perfect for me and my partner to relax for a birthday weekend after a long work week and reconnect with nature. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the mornings and just having a peaceful little place to get away from it all. Jodi and Steven had things set up so wonderfully we never even needed to contact them, but we knew they were just a message away if we needed anything. I would absolutely stay here again and will keep it in mind if I’m in the area in the future.
We went to visit family in the area and this place was so perfectly located. The cabin was spotless when we got there and very cozy to come back at the end of the day and relax. The owners are very nice wonderful people, communicated often with us to make sure the stay was going well and even gave us some veggies from their garden.
Great comfortable clean cabin with everything for a great stay! Close to several great lake spots, and included everything needed for cooking meals. Hosts were very friendly. Lovely nightly chorus of frogs, owls, whiporwills, and more to sing you into a restful sleep after a day of sun and swimming.
We stayed here 1/18-20 as we were far from home looking to purchase in the area. Our host, Jodi, was so warm and welcoming from our initial messaging through the end of our stay. She was so helpful and gave us a lot to think about moving there. We even got a little snow which being from FL are not accustomed to, but it looked like an idyllic winter wonderland, and she made sure we were prepared for the cooler temps and even gave us an update on the roads as she knew we planned to venture out to the surrounding towns. The place was perfect inside and out (looks brand new), very clean and had everything you would need to cook several meals. Above all, it was so relaxing and a nice place to get away from it all. I highly recommend and would love to stay again before we have our home there.

Mandy,
Thank you for your very kind words. We loved hosting you and your husband, and your tiny 4-legged baby too! You are welcome to come back anytime and we're looking forward to touching base again when you do. We think you'll love moving to TN and will have zero regrets!
I was there for a family memorial service. It was a very nice little cabin for 2 adults. Very clean & nice amenities. I do have just a couple of small recommendations. Maybe consider adding some over the door hangers to hang towels or clothes on & a couple of clothes hangers. It was very happy to discover the clothing steamer under the bathroom sink. It would be nice if there was a hanger to hange a shirt on while you steam it & after so it doesn’t wrinkle again. Also a full length mirror would be nice so you can see your finished outfit. 😊. Thank you for the nice water & snacks you provided as well.
