Best location possible for my trip to DC. Very short walk to the Metro and excellent restaurants in Brookland. I highly recommend The Harp. Best pint of Guinness outside of Dublin.
The property was clean, and well located for metro. The beds were comfortable, the lights next to bed were innovative. Needs more plates for food, there wasn't one comfortable seat in the place.
Street parking and street noise were not a problem at all. The place was very nice, so I'll only mention the imperfections. The mattress in the master bedroom is uneven, so one side feels like you'll roll downhill. The walls seem somewhat thin so we could sometimes hear the voices and footsteps of neighbors. The hosting service was super responsive to our minor questions.
The apartment was spotless. Tastefully decorated. Bedrooms are at the back of the apartment away from street noise. Ten minute walk to the Brookland Metro (and Saturday Farmer's Market). There was always a parking spot on 12th Street and the location made access to other neighborhoods by car or Uber simple.
Host was a delight to work with. Immediate responses to questions. And they were pet friendly. Priceless!!
If you are going to be visiting, Washington DC, the subway is about a 3 to 4 minute walk away. It is also a five minute walk away from the edge of the Catholic university and some of its restaurants. For four adult people, furniture could have been a little more comfortable in the living room area. But we spent very little time at the unit, so we made it work. It was not listed that a blow dryer was there, and I made the mistake of not packing one. We had questions regarding the checking in process, and we received instant assistance. Kudos to that.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
It was adequate
It is smaller than the picture appears. When I first got there one of the bathrooms was locked and I was freaking out as the one that was left was in the master and that would be inconvenient. (I think they were hoping to not clean it later. The kitchen supplies were not enough although when we asked about that they brought us new ones. The biggest problem was the internet 4 mbps was not in my mind an internet connection. It took a week for them to get that up to 80 which is still really bad but was enough that I could stop using my phone connection. All in all it was ok and we may use them again at some point.
