We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided, and the location was great. The host was easy to communicate with and made the entire process simple and enjoyable. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing stay!
Everything was clean and stocked with basic supplies to get us started. We loved the location close to the marina and lots of beds for our guests. My grandson loved the pool table and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners on the spacious patio. We will be back!
Everything was great. The house is a great location and has all the amenities we needed. The only thing I would change is the beds on the main level were very uncomfortable. Other than that, it was perfect for us.
A perfect retreat get away. Plenty of room in the common areas for our families to gather and play games inside and out but also enough space for privacy for everyone. The hosts were response and so helpful with ideas and suggestions to do in the area. Reading about the property made us so appreciative of their willingness to share a piece of their history and home with us.
The cabin was very clean and well decorated, We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the mornings. The host/s were helpful and accommodating. There were 16 of us for 5 days. Unfortunately, we were only provided 6 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, no facial tissue, 2 dishwasher tabs, 2 tea towels, no dishcloths and only 18 bath towels. Thankfully, we were provided some laundry soap and were able to do laundry. Aside from the supply shortage it was a great stay. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would return again.

Thank you, Betty, for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m very glad to hear that you found the cabin clean, comfortable, and enjoyable for your group.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience you experienced regarding supplies. We do provide a starter set for each stay, and when you called, I shared the list of what is normally stocked. This same information was also included in the cabin directions and “Cabin Info” PDF sent through the VRBO app prior to arrival. It helps guests plan for larger groups, and I’m sorry it wasn’t seen ahead of time.
Regarding the dishcloths, we typically keep several on hand, but it appears they were accidentally thrown away or misplaced by a prior guest. Our cleaner left the home in great condition otherwise, and we’ve already addressed this to ensure dishcloths are consistently replaced going forward.
I’m truly glad your group enjoyed the cabin and had a great stay.
My family and I where there for are annual fishing trip. I had trouble pulling my boat up to the house. I got stuck on top of the hill there. Lisa had called me because my family had a hard time with alarm system and she open the lock and turned off the alarm. I told her I was stuck on top of the hill. She told me they don’t pull there boat up there they put there on the concrete pad as you come in. They let me put my boat there which made it much easier. Thank you for that Lisa. We did not catch any fish because it was too hot. Even though we did not catch any fish we enjoyed being out on the boat enjoying the beautiful scenery on the lake. Plus going back to there beautiful home and enjoying that.
We loved our stay at Toebbe Timbers. Our host Lisa was wonderful and very welcoming and accommodating.I would highly recommend this property! The property pictures do not do it justice.
Our bridal party stayed here for our daughter’s wedding. It was perfect! The hosts are so friendly The whole property is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is really quiet and relaxing. The house has plenty of space and a great deck with lots of seating for a group.
We enjoyed our stay here. We ended up having 12 stay and it was perfect place to sit around fire, or do other outside activities, plus everyone had somewhere to sleep.
We had our annual family reunion at the cabin this year. It was a great set up as it was spacious enough for everyone with different spaces to hang out. We enjoyed the privacy and woodsy atmosphere as well. It was a very nice and relaxing time!
This was a great location for 3 families wanting to spend days on Lake Cumberland. Close to Wolf Creek Marina and tons of privacy. We will stay here again if we have a chance.
This was our 2nd time staying at the cabin. Beautiful view of Cumberland Lake and spacious accommodations with room for our family both inside and out.
The property was fantastic. Great outdoor spaces and tons of games to keep our competitive juices flowing. Thanks for having up!

Quiet place to stay with a beautiful view
This was a beautiful, large cabin that was great for our big family and the owners were great to work with! Only downfall is the boat slip was unavailable during our stay.

Lindsay,
The cabin and the beautiful surroundings are priceless to our family! We were happy to hear you and your family had a great time!
Unfortunately our boat dock was not available due to the contractor abandon the job that was suppose to be completed in May 2017.
Therefore we have removed the option of our boat slip off our site. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope you were able to utilize Wolf Creek Marina located 1 mile away from our cabin.
