Alpine Hideaway is the perfect family home tucked off a quiet road just minutes from the village, golf, trails, sports fields, and all the wonderful amenities Stowe has to offer.

A lovely walkway provides a cottage-like welcome to this wonderful Stowe family home—especially in spring through fall with the perennial flower beds in bloom. A spacious entry has a long bench and ample storage. The open concept living and dining areas feature low profile furnishings that allow the architectural elements of the home to take center stage—including gorgeous hand-hewn, reclaimed beams and a wood burning stone fireplace. Bright light through large bay windows and glass patio doors warms the space and tasteful décor is placed throughout. A roomy eat-in kitchen is fully equipped to feed a crowd and a laundry room is tucked off to the side. Outside, enjoy the massive deck with Adirondack chairs and long table for dining al fresco. A private nook off the central living area features a day bed and walks through to the first-floor primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a dreamy king-sized four poster bed.

A sweet little desk area is located on the landing of the upper level of the home and separates two wings of guest rooms. To one side, two guest rooms mirror each other in size and beds—one queen and one twin in each—and share a full bath. This setup is ideal for families with young children. The other wing features an expansive bedroom with two queens and a private bath. All bedrooms in this home have lovely bedding and careful consideration has been given to elements of comfort.

The lower walk-out level of the home has large windows and sliding doors (for access to the backyard) as well as a full-size ping-pong table and foosball in the rec space and a den with oversized sofa, big TV, game table, and bar seating for hours of fun. An adjacent hot tub in a sunroom is the best spot to end a day of fun and activity in Stowe.
