Kevin was fantastic. I had some important work to be done and he made sure our trip was smooth and our dogs were included. They had a blast running around the house! The master bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. We will book again in a heartbeat.

Kevin was great at answering questions and communicating about check-in, check-out etc. The property was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Everything was just as described in the listing. Definitely recommend it for a stay tucked away in the forest and close to Truckee!

Located on the North side of town away from the TD tourism and the condensed living of Donner Lake, with easy access to Prosser Dam boating, hiking and biking, the owner lives on the property but is nicely hidden from view over a grassy knoll, you will find a peaceful secluded yard with two lawns and a fenced area, the second level deck is great for beers in the warm afternoon sun and the vaulted kitchen ceiling makes great acoustics if you like to whistle or sing, maybe, Bob Marley’s Rainbow Country.

Peaceful setting

The spacious layout of this beautiful home was perfect for our family vacation. There is plenty of privacy for everyone plus large common living space and massive deck. The host, Kevin, thought of ecerything to make our July 4th week holiday special and was wasily reachable to assist with best eateries, shopping & activities.
The 3 arcade games were a hit! & scavenger hunt in the large fenced yard

Family time

Host was very welcoming and forthcoming with some last minute discoveries regarding dishwasher, etc. Location was close to local eateries with quick access to the main interstate and highways without all the congestion. My husband and son were able to go to the nearby dam for a quick cast and even caught a brown trout before we left to go home!!

Great home base for skiing

A lovely place to stay for our ski trip, despite no snow. We found other things to do and enjoyed the cabin itself. I loved the fact that the kitchen is set up for people who cook. The knives were sharp, which is a rarity at a rental in my experience.
