The property was very well kept and very clean. I would have preferred the dressing mirrors on the wall but they worked. The parking space was a tight squeeze but we figured it out. All in all the price was very reasonable for what we got. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Our stay at The Purple Frog home was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, the house felt like home - cozy, welcoming, and full of such a fun, relaxing vibe. As soon as you enter, you feel like you are home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our time. The location was perfect too - centrally located and convenient to everything we wanted to do. From restaurants, to casinos and entertainment venues. What really made the experience even better was the host, who was incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We loved learning the history of The Purple Frog home.... during our stay we nick named the frog Pete for our visit and would tell him hello and goodbye when passing by.We loved everything about The Purple Frog and are already looking forward to staying here next year. Highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway!

The house was precious! The hosts were so kind and helpful! We came for a baseball World Series and it was convenient to the park. We enjoyed having a fully useable kitchen while also having two bathrooms for space. The living room was also family cozy!

About the host

Host profile image
My husband and I are locals to Gulfport and recent empty nesters. We enjoy traveling, time with family, being outdoors, and creative renovation projects. I’m a very detail oriented individual and I like expressing that in my rental property.

Why they chose this property

It is the historic neighborhood with some of the oldest homes in Gulfport and all Camille and Katrina hurricane survivors. It’s close to downtown, Gulfport Marina, Jones Park, the Casino and the MS Aquarium.

What makes this property unique

Location, cozy charm, and excellent front porch.
