Hidden Haven - 2 bedrooms with ensuite baths & living /dining and full kitchen.

Hidden Haven is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home with an open-concept living, dining, and full kitchen that provides guests with a cozy cottage experience. A screen-in porch with chairs and a table to just relax or enjoy breakfast and a large open deck with beautiful views of the island's natural vegetation and the nearby lake are the perfect places to relax with family and friends.
This two-bedroom unit is located on the upper level of the building, separate from the ground-level studio, and is accessible via steps.

The pool is available for guests only and may be shared if other guests are in the studio on the ground level.
Free internet, Wi-Fi, and a smart TV with cable are available.
A laundry room with a free washer/dryer combo is available on the ground level.

Relax, sit back, and enjoy the tranquility of island life while gazing out over the lake from the pool and decks. Or enjoy a family day by the pool, grilling, and hanging out.
Guests are provided with portable beach chairs, umbrellas, and an ice cooler for the beach.

Hidden Haven cottage is centrally located and is close to facilities such as Grace-Way IGA supermarket and sports center, which offer tennis courts and gym facilities at daily rates for visitors. Guests have easy access to various activities such as dining at 5-star restaurants, shopping, and beach access in the Grace Bay and Turtle Tail area, accessible via a short drive.
Parking is on the property.
Car rental is recommended to enjoy the many beaches and restaurants and explore the island.
Rest easy knowing our property is safe and clean, providing the perfect getaway for you and your loved ones.

Other things to note:
There is no daily maid service. Maid service or mid-week service is available at an additional cost.
The cottage is not "childproof," and parents are responsible for always monitoring and safeguarding their children.

From a guest (missed the review period) who stayed at Hidden Haven during the Christmas Holidays 2023 for two weeks with her family.
We had a great stay at the property. It is very nicely furnished and comfortable. We loved the pool and large deck with lovely seats, sun loungers and umbrella with views to the lake. We appreciated all the facilities including an abundant supply of towels, laundry facilities, well-equipped kitchen, tv and first aid kit. Karen and Kevin were always responsive to our queries.

Beautiful place to stay

Beautiful place to stay it has everything we needed and more. Would recommend friends to stay at hidden haven. Karen was very accommodating with early check in and constant communication. We loved it place and the own island. Will love to visit and stay at Karen again.

A quiet place away from the tourist areas

The grounds were beautiful. The property is very well kept and maintained. The host, Karen, was amazing. She was informative and accommodating. I highly recommend this property and we do plan to stay there again on our next visit

Fantastic Property

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed, comfortable, and completely as ease! Karen was a fantastic host, the house was truly amazing, and we didn’t want to leave. Hidden Haven is the perfect name, as the house is in a very quiet area but is only 5 minutes from everything. The location is located right in the middle of all the places you want to go to. We cannot wait to come back and will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful!

This house is exactly as pictured. I felt like I stepped into a magazine. The beds are total comfort. The kitchen is well equipped. The screened in porch is a perfect place for coffee in the morning. The deck is wonderful in the evening. The outdoor shower came in handy when we returned from the beach. The neighborhood is quiet in the evening. I will stay here again.

We loved the homey feel of property. It is off the beaten path and I was a little concerned about that but when we arrived my reservations disappeared. It’s gated and there’s a lock at the bottom of the stairs, lock at screened in porch and slider so I felt completely safe! The area is quiet and beautiful, loved the view of lake. The pool was clean. Beaches, grocery store, airport, and restaurants are all close, 5-15 minutes. I have 2 teenagers, 14 & 17 and we all had plenty of room to be together and have space from each other!! Karen was a great host! I highly recommend this place!

Family with 2 young kids (under 6 years old). This place was perfect for us. The pool was great as it wasn’t too deep and had a shallow section. The furnishings were beautiful and it was very well decorated. With our young kids we stashed away some decorations during our stay so we wouldn’t break anything but having them there on check in made the place feel classy and cozy. Beds were comfortable. The place was incredibly clean, well lit, and secure. It was off a beaten path for sure but with the security gates we felt very safe. You need a car but the grocery store was close and with a car it was close to Turtle Cove and Grace Bay which means it’s also close to many restaurants and beautiful beaches. Great communication with host. They helped us out on more than one occasion and very promptly as well. I would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quiet spot with tons of amenities. Lives up to its namesake, definite Hidden Haven.

SPECTACULAR!

Stop scrolling and BOOK NOW! Hidden haven is not just a name but the definition of this property! Location, location, location! Hidden haven made it so easy to get to all of the beaches BUT coming back in the afternoons - you were nestled away into the lush landscaping that made you feel like you were on the island by yourself. The unit is so cozy, yet the perfect size for a family of four. The screened in porch is a paradise to sit on every morning and drink your coffee while you look out over the lake. Grilling by the pool underneath the lights was a hit for dinner. And none of this compares to Karen! Talk about a host that takes care of her guests! It was raining when we arrived, so she made sure we had an umbrella downstairs to get up to the unit and another umbrella upstairs as well! Every day she sent us events that were happening on the island, so we definitely didn't miss out! She also remembered the day of my daughter’s birthday and sent her a happy birthday message! We will definitely be returning to this GEM and couldn't recommend it more!

Hidden Gem! Would definitely stay again!

Nice and clean property with great amenities! Everything was thought of including coffee and tea, sunblock and mouthwash and extra razors in case you needed them! The pool was great too especially if you just want a rest day, which we did do on day three. I am not sure if the pool was being cleaned or maintained during our stay but by day 4 the pool started looking green so we didn’t swim in it. Could have been all the rain. We just enjoyed the ocean in between the heavy rains when we could. For the most part the property was quiet. There are some dogs in the neighborhood and they do bark quite a bit especially at night. When we were inside this didn’t disturb us much but sitting outside on the patio it was more noticeable. They did come to visit us a few times too and didn’t seem aggressive. Karen was wonderful to work with and did check on us throughout our stay to make sure we were doing okay and if we needed anything. The grocery store (IGA) was very close to the rental property but Sunny’s is a bit cheaper and located near Chalk Sound. We went to both. IGA has a bit more variety but Sunny’s is good for snacks and water. It rained for a few days of our stay so we were unable to really get out as much as we would have liked to and with the heavy rain, the roads flooded and being in a rental car this was quite challenging. The prettiest beach we went to was called Pelican Beach. Very clean and not overcrowded. We would definitely stay at this property again!
