Nice place but horrible experience

Upon arrival, we walked into a uncleaned unit, it wasn’t touched since the last people rented. It was a disappointing way to start off my husband’s 50th celebration. One of the property managers did come and clean the unit themselves right way. I know, they can’t control the cleaning people. A lot of back and forth while trying to enjoy our lunch. Had to pull the towels and wash rages out of the dryer for use. Then, noticed the property itself has a huge problem with gnats. They are in the main entrance and going through the air vents. Killed over 30 while there. They were in our face while trying to eat and drink, landing on food and drinks. Was able to workout parking for an exotic car we had. The building was quiet the condo had nice layout. Management did offer another night stay, we had kids to go back to. Asked, if we came back during the summer and they changed to we a discount and would work something out. We would possibly stay again, if those items were fixed and recover us as customer.

The property was very clean. We had a comfortable stay, the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms gave our teen the separation she needed. The host was very friendly and helpful. She was also easy to connect with.

Stay in Ybor

Overall we enjoyed our stay! I read other reviews that mentioned having a hard time finding the apartment and wondered how. The apartment complex has two buildings and this VRBO isn't in the main building. I was disappointed that it wasn't in the same building as the pool but it was very close. The pool was too cold to swim in (which I know the host can't help). I was looking forward to using the hot tub that was listed but there wasn't one. The location was walking distance to a street car which was great to use and close to the Ybor restaurants and shops.

Lively Ybor City is known for boutiques and vintage shops on 7th Avenue, which also hosts Cuban and Latin American eateries. The Centro Ybor mall offers indie fast food, bars, and a cinema. Housed in a 1920s bakery, Ybor City State Museum has exhibits on the cigar industry and the area’s immigrant communities.

What makes this property unique

We decided to go with a modern retro vibe, to compliment the night life you'll find steps from the apartment. We also understand that some people just want to sleep and relax while on vacation. So we made sure the entire place can be blacked out during the day, for sleeping or a movie day.
