We had a great stay here. The cabin was clean and had lots of room. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. This cabin is conveniently located just outside of town. We enjoyed fishing in Mountaintown Creek in the afternoons. If you stay here, be sure to check out downtown Ellijay and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway just up the road.
Everything was great! We really enjoyed our stay. There was almost no traffic and no really close neighbors. The house has a very comfortable, cozy feel with all of the personal touches, it felt like a home. Everything was clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Thanks for being a wonderful guest. We'd love to host y'all again.
Nine women from my church booked this home for a weekend retreat. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and enjoy the porches and indoor rooms as well as come together for meals and talk in the living area. The home was clean and we could tell the owners have collected items to display that made us feel comfortable and cozy. It was the perfect place for our retreat and the owner was always quick to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Debbie Basnett
Hi I’m Debbie. I grew up in Georgia and currently call Savannah my home. My husband served 20 years in the Air Force so I feel fortunate to have a multitude of travel and experiences from that time.
Why they chose this property
My Dad bought this property back in the 80s so we have a lot of family memories here. It's a great place to disconnect and just relax. We love floating in the creek, fires at night, and coffee on the porch in the morning.
What makes this property unique
We're not in a typical cabin rental area which we love. Although the area has become more popular recently, staying at our cabin is more of a "local" experience than most.
