About this property

Canal home with afternoon shade on decks - close to beach - 12 Moore St.

Custom home built in 2002 offers an open, bright floor plan, well stocked kitchen, fenced yard and expansive decks. Located on the preferred side of the canal so the rear decks receive afternoon shade. With five bedrooms (two of which are Masters with King beds) and five full baths there is bed space for 12 people. WIFI, hammock, Weber charcoal grill, gas grill, and more.

Two Kings, One Queen, Bunk bed with Twin & Double bed, One other Twin and one Double. PLEASE NOTE: Sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc. are not included and must be provided by Guest. See Rental Agreement attachment for details. Rental linens & towels are available to rent through several companies on the island.

Check-in is 2pm or later. Check-out is 10am.

Located on a deep-water, concrete canal you can enjoy views of the canal and Intracoastal Waterway. Direct access to the ICW and a dock with freshwater wash down makes boating a pleasure. Even if you don’t have a boat everyone enjoys fishing, crabbing and swimming in the canal.

OIB Charges for Beach Access Parking (cars & golf carts) - Hourly, Daily & Weekly Rates - •$5 per hour for up to 3 hours•$20 per day and durations longer than 3 hours (with buy-up to Max $20)•$80 per week as seven consecutive days from the time of purchase

Cable TV, Stereo, Ceiling Fans in Each Bedroom, Whirlpool Tub in Upstairs Master bath, DW, Microwave, Blender, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Outdoor Shower & Two freshwater wash downs, Washer & Dryer in Dedicated Laundry Room. Please note the fireplace is not operable. There are no gas appliances in the home due to safety concerns.

We require a signed rental agreement prior to your stay. No house parties, Spring Break events or other large gatherings are allowed. House is monitored by on-island staff and a violation will automatically terminate your stay.

Ocean Isle 2024

We've rented many homes in Ocean Isle over the years and this is one of the best! Love the location on the canal, the cleanliness and all the amenities! The layout is great with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Well stocked with everything you need for a perfect week at the beach!

Could not have been better. The house was perfect for our large family, canal for fishing and boating was awesome for the grandkids. There are plenty of fun things to do on the property to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for meals. Very easy walk to the beach. Evacuated for Florence, amazing 3 days before

Although we had to leave a couple days early because of Hurricane Florence, the 3 days we did spend in OIB were just beautiful. This home was all we expected and more! Well stocked and neat as a pin, beautifully decorated, comfortable furnishings , everything you could ask for. The beach is a short 5 minute walk. The real attraction here though, is the back of the home. Outstanding decks overlooking a manicured back yard, leading to .... the dock! I was able to get my boat in for a day before we had to leave, and I am glad I did! The whole process was super easy, from check in to Tad staying in touchwith me,providing weather and evacuation information and instructions. I highly recommend this beautiful home and will definitely be back!

We spent a week at this location and it was our first time at OIB. This was a perfect location and the home was lovely with all amenities to make a relaxing and enjoyable family vacation gathering. LOVED IT! Had the best time.

My family had a wonderful stay at 12 Moore Street in Ocean Isle. The home was clean and the access to everything was phenomenal. I loved the layout of the house with two masters. We had plenty of beds and everyone had their own bath. The owner is super friendly and very responsive. I would definitely rent this home again and stay longer.

I started visiting OIB when I was a child and have loved it ever since. When my wife and first decided to buy a beach home we toured the entire NC coast to find the perfect spot. We never found a place any better than OIB. After carefully evaluating all of the floor plans on the island, we built the home in 2002. We now live in Asheville and make it to the beach as often as we can.

Why they chose this property

We chose this lot due to the proximity to the beach access and because it's on the West side of the canal. On our side of the street the decks are shaded during the hottest part of the afternoon. After hours at the beach coming home to a shaded hammock is a great way to finish the day.
