Good except for noisy construction and no lanai
We stayed for a month and after the first week they locked our lanai due to construction that we were not aware of. Some days it was so loud we had to leave.
Overall a great experience! The location is great and close to beaches and Waikiki. The views are also amazing and the host was responsive and easy to deal with. We would stay here again.
Location was great and we did not get the room that we had picked out on line. Obviously false advertising of room on line.
We took many pictures because people would not believe what it was like. there was dry rot holes in the curtains, a big rip in the seam of the couch, patio furniture has holes in the plastic chairs and rush on the furniture and the complaints just could go on and on.
All i can do is stay away from this site and inform other people to do the same
We normally stay next-door at the Prince Hotel, but for several hundred dollars less, we got this gem. We loved the location, so convenient to Ala Moana without having to fight the Waikiki traffic. Condo was clean and efficient enough.
Extra of everything..mattresses, sheets, pillows, towels & lots of space for the 4 of us! There was no parking lot attendant to assist with parking tickets. Will definitely stay here again!
The unit is in need of updating, however, everything worked and the unit was clean. The view of the ocean is awesome. The view of the harbor is heart breaking, because it's polluted. Filled with debris (mostly trash and dead fish) and needs to be cleaned. Overall, our VRBO experience was very good.
Wonderful place to stay if you enjoy the following:
1) caked on crud in corners on floor
2) despicable filthy grout on floor
3) sticky floor to walk on barefoot
4) shredded/stained, inoperable curtains
5) flaking paint on most cabinets/dirt from body oils
6) couch will stain clothes. Don’t sit on with light colors.
Hopefully, we will receive our full cleaning deposit. Doubtful. Mahalo🌺
Good: Nice view, convenient location
Not good: The furniture looks like it was purchased at a frat house going-out-of-business sale: battered old tables and chests in the bedroom, scraped up kitchen cabinets, torn drapes, electrical outlets either not working or too loose to hold chargers, rusty drain in the bathtub, the bedroom widow bolted shut so forget about a soothing nighttime breeze. The two stars are for the view and location. It's clear the owners never use this place so it's just a money maker. They need to spend some of it on long-overdue renovations. Also, they're remodeling a restaurant on the first floor so prepare for constant construction noise throughout the day.

Good location, needs renovation and a very deep clean!!
I called the day of check in to get the information as how to self check in.
The view was fantastic, the futon is supposed to be a bed for the second guest. We had to ask the owner to bring linens for the second bed. I was told they set up up for 2 people because that’s what the reservation was for. I had to explain that we (mother and daughter) don’t share a bed and the listing states there is sleeping for4. The owner brought some sheets for us :)but, the futon is very uncomfortable. I found an air mattress in the closet and was thrilled to be comfortable!! But, a few hours later the mattress was flat and I was sleeping on the hard floor.
After a difficult conversation, I was told that no body else has ever had a problem.
Drapes are ripped and non functional. Bathmat in the tub was covered in mildew.
Filthy fan blades and vents.
We were disappointed with our experience, but made the best of it since we were stuck in the rental agreement. We would have loved to get a refund and go stay somewhere else.
I did appreciate the owner when he finally said he would buy a new air mattress, that was very helpful.
Truth be told, nice people own it but they don’t clean well aand have random things in the closets which make them unusable to store luggage, etc…
The o and it was smooth sailing after that.

Improvements and deep cleaning needed
I needed a total of 10 nights on Oahu and decided to try my first 5 here. I really wanted to love it, but it was too difficult for me to complete my full 5 nights here, so I departed a day early to enter my next rental unit at The Modern across the street. What a huge difference.
The unit has direct ocean views and harbor views, location is perfect to walk to/from Ala Moana Mall, easy access to the beach, and It’s really easy to get ride shares from this location as it is outside of the Waikiki traffic.
Now to the experience of my stay. I arrived a little early so I knew it would be impossible to have an early check-in. The manager of the unit was very responsive and always kept me on alert of the status of the unit. Housekeeper was behind on cleaning so I ended up placing my bags in the room and head out to my activities while the housekeeper makes her way to cleanup the unit. I finally got to check-in at 4:30pm and settle in. I started my usual inspection before unpacking and could not believe what I walked into. This is a short list of requirements needed for me to consider this unit again.
-The lock box is a safety issue and I highly recommend the owner invest in a newer code changing technology. They keys in the lockbox can be accessed by anyone who has the combination. I am sure that the lockbox is still the same combination. It’s an old lockbox and it needs to go. Huge safety concerns.
-there’s only 1 laminated paper of basic instructions. There is no binder on the counter that instructs a guest for how to use AC and unit lights, etc….
-AC was an issue and very old so I had to find the manual online and go from there.
-the curtains are so old with holes and falling off the hooks. It’s beyond repair! The sunset can be really bright and there’s no way to avoid shade with those bad curtains.
-the carpets are seriously dirty. It requires a deep cleaning or needs to be replaced.
-the ceiling fan is thick with dust on the edges.
-bathroom ceiling has serious mold
-vents are thick with dust
-shower curtain has body wash and shampoo residue all over from other guests.
- all closest has random items and is looking like a storage system of guests collecting junk.
-the sofa bed is super old
-the entire unit needs to have a paint job. There are scuff marks all over and it’s dirty everywhere.
-the bed and pillows are old.
They need to closedown the unit and deep clean and do soft renovation.
Location was awsome as your right by the Friday night fireworks and you have a view of the harbor.
Location is prime as your bye the Friday night fireworks and a harbor view. There is a great beach walking distance less then 5 minutes. Two awesome restaurants on the property Chart House and Red Lobster. Great little bar on property as well. Will for sure stay again there. Once had beach chairs as well to bring to beach. Tell your friends pack there bags and come on down
Outside wall construction noise; inadequate pots and pans; lanai inaccessible; lanai door blocked from outside; sole window screwed shut; inadequate kitchen towels, no bathroom facecloths; dirty range oven; a sad, unhappy vacation rental; we dealt with an unhelpful agent or perhaps a broker (this was NOT a VRBO !)...however, great location, great view(through construction labelling)...absolutely NO mention of construction noise before occupancy
