4 NIGHT MINIMUM - Beautiful in-town single family smoke free home in Northampton’s tranquil Smith College neighborhood. 3 Bedroom, 1.5 bath. Max 6. We welcome Visiting Faculty, Corporate Relocation or Business Travelers, and Families in town for extended stays.
Enjoy neighborhood life on the porch in a rocking chair, or retreat to the back garden with its 35’ babbling waterfall and gas firepit. Tree-lined Crescent Street offers sidewalks for pleasant 20 minute walk to historic downtown, restaurants, theaters, shopping, and galleries, or take a short drive into the Berkshires.
Turn of the century charmer was fully updated. Large front porch leads to open living area that includes modern kitchen with counter-seating, dining area, and living room with decorative fireplace.
Amenities include all cooking & dining necessities, bed/bath linens, high-speed wireless internet, smart tv with "Xfinity Stream" cable service, washer & dryer on bedroom level.
Ceiling fans in each bedroom. Mini-split A/C's on first and second floors with window A/C for bedroom 3. Bedroom 1 = a King; Bedroom 2 = a Queen; Bedroom 3 = two Twin beds. Furnished porch with ceiling fan has rocking chairs and Adirondack chairs, while backyard has 6 seat patio set with umbrella, propane barbecue grill, 35’ waterfall, and natural gas fire pit.
Lawn maintenance, trash & recycling service, and snow removal are included in rental price. Off-street parking on right side of a driveway shared with the neighbor for up to 2 vehicles. Renter is responsible to arrange if you want cleaning services during the term of the stay and we can suggest the team we use.
Please be aware the home does not have a land-line telephone service, uses streaming for local and cable TV (not a cable box), and the living room fireplace is not working and is decoration only at this point in time.
NOTES:
1) No pets - not negotiable.
2) No smoking, candles, incense or burning of any kind
3) Owner lives on property in the detached Carriage House out back (parks on street).
4) Check in 3 pm / out 11am.
5) Property Damage Insurance Policy used instead of Security Deposit
6) May not be suitable for young children - please inquire

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put the lockbox key back in the lockbox (enter the code to open; you may have to re-enter the code again to return the face to the cradle).
Leave sheets on beds. Leave the A/C remote and House Keys on the kitchen counter.
Lock the front door from the inside. Exit the rear kitchen door, locking the handle as you pull it closed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

After 6 years of restoration I find I'm away from the area more and more for extended business trips or visiting relatives. When I'm in the area I use the detached Carriage House apartment and park on the street.
