Property is perfect for almost any occasion. Walking distance to the local store makes it very convenient if youve forgotten anything. We enjoyed the firepit and cooked our meals on it. Drinking coffee the next morning on the deck was a favorite moment for all of us. Would recommend to anyone and we will definitely try to come back again! Thank you
Big bed was in the loft with a very steep stairway so ended up sleeping on the bottom of bunk bed on the lower level. Only 2 of us so they left 2 towels for our Thursday-Sunday stay and locked up the other towels in the bathroom- no washing machine to keep them clean after our hikes and lake adventures. There were bare minimum amenities so had to purchase a lot of necessities from the Shopping Bag store which was conveniently located at least. Propane grill was available, but no propane tank was left, so we had to buy a new tank just to cook out our planned dinners. Shows on the map that it is near the creek.but it is actually across the main street coming into town on the other side of a fence and trees so you cant see it or walk to it. Nice to drink coffee on the porch and listen to the water flow though. This is your basic, conveniently located cabin with a lot of potential.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The listing showed internet and when we arrived we were informed that there was no internet. Not that it was temporarily out but was not available! I would not have signed up for that property and have stayed many times in Stonewall and it is supplied. I can not stay connected with my business as trying taking time away. This was stressful at the start of the weekAlso the property has no notebook or booklet to give instructions like all the properties from north to south that we have stayed in. That has been constant for all for communication and information. Also welcoming. Also the property stated that it would sleep 4 and we decided to take 2 grandkids and the rooms were so small, not like pictured. The loft could not be accessed by older people and the bunk room was so tight the top bunk was unusable. Kitchen supplies were so old the silverware was falling apart and old appliances needed updates to even function at all. Even one dish broken probably from old age-sorry about the broken dish.Setting was GREAT and Steve the host was GREAT and helped out with a lost key situation. We would not have booked this with more knowledge of no internet, which caused us to leave a day early and would not have brought gkids if we would have known the true space limits. Should be listed as RUSTIC and COZY if anything. Not excited to use VRBO again
