Whalehead with a Pool!

Let's get acquainted....Whaler's Inn is a beach house large enough for your family and a couple of friends or extended family members. Four bedrooms - One Master King Suite, an additional King Bedroom and Double Bunk Room that share a full bathroom, and a Queen Bedroom on the top level that has access to a full bathroom. Each bedroom has access to a deck or balcony to enjoy the beautiful sunrises.

Whaler's Inn features the 'traditional' beach house reverse floor plan, the living, dining, and kitchen are at the top with access to furnished decks and Screened In Porch. You mustn't miss out on the Ships Watch just a few steps up from this gathering room.  Relax and enjoy the ocean views from the deck and Ship Watch room.  

After a day on the beach, enjoy the private gated pool and hot tub on the ground level, and the poolside Tiki Bar for cold drinks and grilled food.  

BEACH ACCESS:   About 1000 feet to Herring Beach Access.  

4 BEDROOMS accomodates 10 guests in 2 Kings, 1 Queen, 2 Twin Bunk Sets.

Sheets are provided for each bed. 10 Bath Towel Sets (1 Bath Towel, 1 Hand Towel, 1 Washcloth)

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION 

Full Week vacation leases available to renters 24 and older during peak season (May 15-Sept. 15). Family Groups Only. Partial week rentals available on shoulder season before May 15, and after Sept. 15- Please call or inquire to book partial weeks. 
TURNOVER DAY - Saturday. 
PET POLICY: Dog Friendly! 2 Adult Dogs (no puppies) are permitted for an additional fee. 
NO SMOKING OR VAPING
POOL - Available Mid-April - Mid October Pool Heating with additional charge (weekly fee). Pool Heat option allows the pool to be heated by a heat pump , device. Please know that actual water temperature will be dependent on the ambient air temperature and a specific temperature cannot be guaranteed.

Great location

This was a great place for our family and two dogs. The inside was clean and well appointed, and the beds were fairly comfortable. Great location… only a 5 min walk to the beach. Nice pool and hot tub as well. My only criticism is that the decks and fencing were a bit tired. Everything was solid and safe but could use some maintenance.

Graduation getaway

Great location and close to the beach, house was in good order. Did find several nails around the pool area and driveway. We let the management know and heard nothing in response.

Great location

Location was perfect. A nice walk to the beach. The place was a bit older than we realized. The hot tub wasn’t working properly and staying hot. Had an ant problem when we first arrived as well as a bed was broken but those were resolved quickly.

Very satisfied with stocked kitchen was able to cook comfortably. The little basket of supplies was a pleasant surprise. The beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub on windy days. Very satisfied Beds

Fantastic location for a laid back vacation

House could use plastic cups, particularly for around the pool. Minor stuff wrong (toilet paper holders, pool gate and doors hard to close), but overall great property. Early checkout was a bit tough.

Overall Good Stay

We had a pretty nice stay at Whaler’s Inn. The location is very convenient to the beach (only a few doors up from a walkway to the beach that has good access for beach wagons). The rental was clean, and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The inside of the unit was really nice and relaxing. All in all it was a good stay.A couple items that should be noted.The inside was nice but the outside of the property is showing considerable wear. You can see some items having been fixed recently but others will likely need to be fixed in the near future. The internet is very slow, so slow in fact that we had to use our phones as hotspots the entire week to use laptops (so think before booking if you plan to work on your trip). Lastly, we had a bee issue that we reported our second day that never was resolved. The property management company called us mid week saying they received the message and someone would be out but nobody ever showed up. Unfortunately, we had someone with us that was allergic that was not able to enjoy the outside space as a result. All that being said, if you are traveling with a focus on being at the beach you really couldn’t ask for a better location.
