About this property
Casita Sierra: Private hot tub, sea, sand and you
About this space
Allow the sound of the ocean waves to rock you to sleep each night. Casita Sierra, one of three unique dwellings at Casitas de Cortez, is perfectly situated 2 blocks from the best beaches in Baja. Revive your spirit and step into another world where there are “no bad days” and life flows with sunshine, sand, sea, great food, nice people and a laid-back vibe. Each casita has its own private outdoor hot tub that is fed by a natural hot spring that is unique to this town. Pure, simple bliss.
The space
Casita Sierra's palapa roof, made of pine poles and palm fronds, helps add to the casita's unique Mexican charm. The simple round one-room yurt feels cozy yet is fully stocked with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Gaze at the night sky from your private hot spring hot tub just outside of your yurt. The hot spring aquifer runs underneath this property, straight to the Sea of Cortez. The hot spring aquifer flows underneath the casitas which emits a high-vibrational, soothing energy. Each casita has a private toilet and private shower inside. Also includes 2 beach chairs, beach towels and a beach umbrella so you can get right down to the beach, a 2 minute walk.
Guest access
The casitas have private parking on-site. We are located at the end of a street with no thru-traffic -- very quiet, private and serene. This is not the party scene of Cabo. Spa Buena Vista is a small neighborhood town with a mix of Mexican families, Americans and Canadians who live here part time in the high-season. A rental car is recommended. There is no bus stop at Spa Buena Vista and it is not walkable to Los Barriles, the nearest large town with a bus stop.
Other things to note
Each casita has a private kitchenette, shower and toilet inside. The Sea of Cortez, which is 2 blocks away, is swimmable and there is great snorkeling within walking distance.
