Wonderful spring break!

Our family of four loved our stay! The community is beautiful with some good options for food within walking distance. The big balcony was our favorite spot when we wanted to get out of the sand. The wash machine was very loud but we just ran it before heading out so we didn’t have to hear it. Overall a great stay!

Wonderful Condo with Beautiful Views...on the Beach

Our family had a wonderful stay in Sandestin at this 2 bedroom condo located on the 14th floor overlooking Miramar Beach. The condo has a huge private terrace that provides great views of the beach. It's close to everything you need. It's a gated community.

Has potential

This trip was a special one because it was probably our last spring break to Destin (Louisville South). We have been coming for many years but 5 of our 7 children are now in college and the two littles would rather not visit the beach if they had a choice. We were sooooo disappointed in this property. Half of The patio furniture was broken and when we asked to have it removed we were told to just move it to the side. The oven didn’t work so we had to throw a bunch of food away that we had planned to cook that wouldn’t have made it 12 hrs home. The unit was dirty. We found so many cheezits laying around that I had to check the pantry to make sure we didn’t bring any. There were other peoples left belongings everywhere (closets, drawers, under the beds). I was so disappointed. The view was nice and the location was perfect. I wish that the condo had been in better shape.

Love Beachside One Condos!

We’ve been coming to Miramar beach for 7 years and love it. Beachside one is our favorite condo building: great location, love the security here and the heated pool/hot tub. We had a few issues with the unit but mgmt addressed them quickly (fixed the noisy master bed asap). Love that it’s walking distance to several restaurants- donuts, ice cream, etc. Bring your own trash bags, hand soap, dw pods, etc. or plan on buying them when you’re here - this is typical with all properties in this area.

The can opener broke and I sent text and had someone knocking on my doir with a new opener within 20 minutes! Then the next day the coffee maker was leaking but before I could get my shoes on to go to McDo Alda for coffee they were at my door with a brand new coffee maker! Efficient and prompt service!

Annual trip to San Destin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a week! Started out quite cool but sunny and warmed up to the low to mid 70's with no rain! The Beachside 1 condo was terrific with a few exceptions. The terrace - patio was by far the best feature of the condo. The views of the gulf and sunsets were beautiful. The exceptions were the general condition of the outside furniture the small table and chairs needed some cleaning and/or painting. Two of the high top chairs were ripped and we were afraid to use them. The kitchen floor was dirty. I tried to clean it but with no real cleaner it was difficult. Toilet in master bath had mold under the rim. It would have been nice to have coffee filters, salt and pepper and more then one dishwasher detergent.

The view from the large balcony was amazing and the best thing about this condo. The condo itself was filthy. I had to scrub the kitchen floors just so we didn't stick to them. The counters in the kitchen and bathrooms were filthy as well, never even wiped down. The master bed was so noisy, it would wake us up anytime one of us moved. You definitely are paying for location and the view, otherwise, not worth it. Also, most other rentals I've stayed in have things like coffee filters, tissues, salt/pepper, extra garbage bags, etc. We had to go buy basic necessities for our stay. We left them behind, but I'm sure the property mngmt company threw it all out and didn't leave it as a courtesy for the next renters.

This building is situated on the beach in Sandestin, 2 doors down from the Hilton. It's the shortest of the Sandestin beachside buildings. Ample, gated parking, very small gym with only two treadmills and two ellipse machines. A nice pool, hot tub, and boardwalk over the dunes to the beach on the second floor although there was no sign indicating this. Condo #4144 is West-facing, top floor with full kitchen, 2 full baths, covered and uncovered family- sized patio-balcony. The second bedroom has 3 twin beds. The king/master has 3 large windows looking down the beach from which we watched the sun pink up the sky every morning. There was a large jacuzzi tub-shower in the master and a walk-in closet with plenty of drawer space. The appliances were old but adequate and plenty of counter space for preparation and cooking. There was a stacked washer-dryer, which we did not use, a Large TV and free Wifi. There were chairs, an umbrella, and a boogie board in the hall closet for us to use. The one small issue we had was immediately corrected by Gibson. Their app is easy to use and helpful with discounts for local vendors. They called to let us know our condo was available for us early, in case we were already in town and called the day before departure to ask if we had questions about the check out process. They did change our door code before daybreak on our day of departure, but we were leaving early, anyway. We come to the Panhandle annually, and this is one of our favorite condos yet!

There aren’t many rentals in Beschside 1 so I advise people to book well in advance. Beachside 1 offers private beachside property to owners, rentals and guests so you’re not forced to share space with day trippers who park at the Hilton public beach access. There is plenty of great places to dine all within a reasonable Uber drive. Gibson ensures a seamless experience. I’ve found all of the owners we’ve had the pleasure of meeting over the years to be extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. and Mrs Garland.

Excellent View and Amenities!

Loved the private balcony and the condo itself was wonderful. Sandestin resort area has easy access to beaches as well a really nice pool and cleanup areas from sand. This condo has everything we needed with three chairs and an umbrella for the beach! Ice machine downstairs and Walmarts and other grocery within 5 minutes make this an ideal spot. Would stay again!

Amazing penthouse View

Overall we were very impressed with our condo. It suited all our needs. The unit itself could use some updating as there is sort of a hodgepodge of furniture. Large pieces of furniture that sort of make it hard to navigate through the unit itself. That being said - this isn’t a deterrent from us rerenting this unit in the future. Just food for thought for the owners as the pictures on the website are slightly deceiving in terms of space. However that being said the view is lovely with ample area outside for sitting. Penthouse view for the win! We were close to all activities while still getting that resort secluded feel. The pool and hottub were a fan favorite & everyone we encountered were incredibly kind and welcoming
