My family and I visited Sanford while exploring the area for a possible relocation. During our 3.5-day stay, we packed in a lot, so it was important to have a place where we could rest peacefully—and this home provided that. The host was kind and made a genuine effort to ensure our comfort. The townhouse was clean and conveniently located close to town. That said, for our specific needs, there were some challenges. My husband is blind, and the home’s age presented a few accessibility concerns. The front porch is very wide, which made it difficult for him to orient himself using the banister. Inside, the floors were somewhat uneven, which can feel unsettling without visual cues. Additionally, the bathroom layout may be inconvenient for some, with one bathroom upstairs and the other located downstairs near the kitchen.Overall, it’s a pleasant and well-located place, but travelers with visual impairments or other mobility considerations may want to take note of these factors.
