5 bedrooms! Beautiful Mountain Retreat

This is a perfect getaway for large families, a work retreat or just getting away from the business of life! Our cabin features 5 bedrooms plus a loft, 4 full bathrooms, large patio with a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen with all cooking amenities and plenty of toys and games for the kids. We have four children between my brother's family and ours and always have additional families up for the weekend. There is plenty of room for everyone, with our favorite times sitting on the patio while the kids explore the great outdoors!

We are tucked away on a cul-de-sac street and back to the mountain preserve. Horseback riding is available within a couple miles from the cabin, as well as, many hiking trails and seven cold water lakes. There is much to do for those that enjoy the outdoors!

Cabin Layout:

*Two Master Bedrooms.
Master Bedroom #1 is upstairs with a Queen Bed, full bath, walk-in closet, additional sitting area that is occupied with a Full Bed. There is a loft with a full size, fold-out Futon directly off the Master Bedroom #1.
Master Bedroom #2 is downstairs with a King Bed and Twin Bed, full bath and walk-in closet.

*Three Guest Bedrooms.
Two guestroom's have full-size beds. Guest bedroom #3 has an elevated (top bunk) and twin bed below. This is a great room for kids, as we designate it as the 'playroom'.

*Kitchen includes; microwave, full oven, refrigerator with ice maker, all cookware, utensils and basic spices.

*Living room includes; Satellite TV and gas fireplace.

There is a fabulous, relaxing oversize front patio with a wood burning fireplace, surround sound and plenty of seating. This is a great setting to relax with a book or happy hour with friends and family before dinner.

~Other amenities include: a dog run, a gas grill, two charcoal grills, custom poker table, pack-n-play, high chair, children's plates, cups, utensils and plenty of games/toys. (corn-hole game is a big hit! It's a bean bag game that entertains all ages)

Love this location

This was our third stay at this house! We had 4-generations ranging in age from 2 to 79. Love this house, plenty of room for everyone. The deck with the fireplace is amazing. The kids loved making smores each evening. We took a short drive to the lake one day. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in backyard. A great time was had by all.

Forest Lakes Mountain Stay

This property provided a very easy place to relax and enjoy time in the mountains with family members for a long weekend. Two large living room areas, one inside and one outside, provided great areas for socializing. We would definitely stay here again.

First class cabin!!!

We go up north often and this trip was by far the best! Cabin was clean, well organized, and the little touches made it first class! The set up was perfect for what we and our fur babies needed! And for the first time we’ve ever rented, the owner called us to ask us if we were enjoying our stay. Again, first class all the way rent this cabin and have a great experience like we did.!

We loved the Cabin we stayed at. The cabin was beautiful, lots of room/space. The outside view was amazing. The house was furnished with everything and didn’t need to take nothing. We look foward to coming back and renting the same exact cabin.

Tremendous property

This property is it a beautiful area of Arizona. The facility is well cared for and provides everything you could need. It is spacious with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy with your family and friends. Be sure to check for number of adults allowed--I think it was 10. Our family enjoyed this property and would recommend it for vacationing! We would love to be there again!!

Perfect place for large families and pets

Winter storm ruined our family camping plans but we feel so lucky that we were able to find this awesome place. Great location! The place easily accommodated our family of 9 and our 2 dogs. The snow was beautiful and everyone had a great time building snowmen and sledding. We used the fireplace out front daily for relaxing watching the snow and making smores. Everything was clean, stocked, and worked properly. Ready to come back in the summer time to enjoy all the hiking trails and lakes!

Beautiful Large Cabin Home

Everything was perfect for our family getaway. Home is very well equipped. Standing heaters shown in pictures were not there but fireplace was excellent. Five Stars!!

This property exceeded all of our expectations from beginning to end. John checked in with us the day we arrived to make sure we found the place, which we all appreciated. To me it shows he cared and I liked the personal touch. I must say that we all shared the same opinion that the pictures really don’t show just how beautiful and clean the place is. The outdoor deck with the fire pit was my favorite and the hosts spoiled us with a welcome gift filled with everything to make s’mores. This was my 5 year old’s favorite and her smile said it all. Beds were all over the place (in a good way) to comfortably sleep 10+ and there is a fenced dog run with a doggy door so you don’t worry about your pets when they need to go outside. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

MOUNTAIN MEMORIES

The listing and pictures on the website don't begin to describe the wonderful retreat that awaited us in this beautiful Forest Lakes location. We have always had good luck with Vacation Rentals by Owner but this comfortable home was by far the best! The main roads and the driveway into the property had been plowed so there was no problem getting into the property and we felt welcomed the moment we stepped out of our vehicles. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need to cook up your favorite dishes and all of the cupboards were labeled so you knew just where to put everything when you were done; the pantry was spacious enough to put away all of our food items and having two refrigerators was a plus for our large family. Everything was immaculate & well kept; the bedrooms were warm and inviting and the entire place made us feel like were in our own home. Even tho there was snow on the ground, the outdoor deck was a favorite gathering place as we cuddled in front of the beautiful fireplace. Our family spanned the ages of 7 years to 93 years and everyone had a great time. The only surprise we had was that the room with "twin beds" was actually bunk beds which didn't work too well for my 93 year old Mom who likes to have her own space. We feel blessed to have been able to enjoy this comfortable home and hope to visit again -- maybe during the summer months.

Beautiful Cabin - Amazing Porch!

This is one, if not the largest rental property in Forest Lakes. It was perfect for our family gathering up North. John communicates promptly and the instruction packet is VERY detailed. Perfect VRBO experience, would highly recommend renting this large cabin.

Great property- my only comment would be that there is a great porch- but it was not useable because of how much pollen and dust were all over the furniture -it was really quite dirty and if the owners would of thoroughly cleaned the porch beforehand it would have been better - they should provided a blower for guests to keep it clean - it was dirty enough that you actually couldn’t sit anywhere without getting completely filthy

Excellent property in an excellent community

Our third summer staying at this property. Great for large families. The weather in June was excellent and allowed us to eat dinners on their beautiful large front porch. Zero complaints highly recommend. Close to good fishing at Willow Springs and Woods Canyon Lakes. We also enjoyed Horseback Riding at nearby stables.

We, my family of four and my brothers’ family of four, bought this as a second home to get away from the Phoenix heat. The cabin was originally three bedroom and we recently completed a remodel, adding two additional bedrooms and extending the front patio. We take great pride in our cabin and have created many lasting memories with family and friends. It is a great place to connect and enjoy the beautiful weather on the Mogollon Rim.
