About this property

Your Private Resort in Wine Country

Your Private Resort includes a Private Pool, 2 Hot Tubs, Pool Table, Bocce Court, Bean Bag Toss & Darts. The home sits on 3+ acres in a rural setting yet only 2 miles to the city center, grocery stores, entertainment and shopping. The living area is open & spacious incorporating the kitchen, living/dining areas in an open floor plan, so spacious so you will never feel crowded. Everyone can join in the fun, whether preparing a meal or snacks in the kitchen, playing billiards, relaxing in one of the hot tubs or swimming.
We are a NO Smoking, NO Pet (including no service animals) hosted vacation home.
The Lodge & Casita will accommodate 10 in beds, the total number of guests may not exceed 14 guests, kids are always welcome. Crib & high chair are provided for little ones at no additional charge.
Have a smaller group - ask about a rebate on the Casita if you don't need all the space.
Any time of year you can enjoy activities ranging from cycling, hiking, kayaking, surfing, golfing, fishing, & of course swimming, hot tubbing or just relaxing.
Sightseeing or wineries at the top of your list? The historical Hearst Castle is about an hour's drive north, there are 2 of California's missions to tour & our region is at the top of the list for world-renowned wineries, so many it will take you more than one trip to visit them all.
On a clear night, the stars - not city lights - light up the sky & we are so close to the beaches you can choose from more than a dozen & be at most within half hour.
Car shows are on the top of your list - there is at least one a month in the area.
There is covered parking & an abundance of space - so there is no need to worry about your vehicle - there is enough parking for all and no fees.
Summer evenings are warmer than the beach or southern locations yet we are cooler than the northern sister city of Paso Robles.
For the little ones there is the Paso Robles Fire House Museum; the Atascadero Zoo, paddle boats at Atascadero Lake & Mr. Putt-Putt's miniature golf.
And of course wine tasting for adults. After a fun-filled day, you can come back - enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub or take a dip in the pool.
This vacation home truly has it all.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Return all furniture to its original location Turn off all ceiling fans and lights in all rooms Close and latch all windows Leave keys at entry on hook

Advise us of any appliance or piece of equipment that is faulty or in need of repair - this is important for everyone’s safety

Place all used towels in shower or tub Advise us of any faucets or showers that are leaking, dripping or not draining & anything that has broken so it may be repaired or replaced

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rental Agreement will be emailed to your email once the reservation is confirmed. Please complete it and return it within 5 days

Evidence of smoking or pets will forfeit $300.00 of the $1500.00 security deposit. Early check-in / late check-out will incur a $75.00 per hour fee.

ONLY Guests on the Rental Agreement are permitted to stay the nite - non-compliance will risk forfeiting reservation and all fees paid

Excellent stay. Very clean and private with all amenities and supplies you need. Warm and cozy in November and it looked like an ideal summer place as well. Great Spot

We really enjoyed our stay at Lodge West. We were there with a party of 11 people and there was plenty of space to accommodate all of us. The property is very well maintained and has everything you would need to enjoy a nice family vacation including pool, hot tub, bocce and cornhole to name a few. We would definitely stay at the property again. Thanks!

Loved our stay

We rented this home for a wedding in the area, and it was absolutely perfect for our group of five couples. The house was very clean, well-organized, and spacious. The large kitchen made it easy to cook and gather, and the pool was a great bonus for relaxing together. The location was ideal—close to everything and easy to get around. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Fantastic stay in Atascadero!

We loved this house! We went with a group of 4 families: 8 adults, 5 kids. The house was perfect for our group, and the setting is spectacular. The house had everything we needed and more. The pool area, hot tubs, and outside area are amazing. Linda was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our booking and trip. We'll be going back for sure!

Perfect Central Coast stay

We stayed at Gary and Linda’s property with our extended family and had a great stay. Their home is impeccably organized and clean, everything is labeled, and it has everything you need to enjoy your visit. Lots of fun features to the property and the rooms are laid out nicely for a couple families to stay and have their own space. Highly recommended!

Central coast family vacation

The house was the most comfortable rental we’ve stayed in. Everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay was included. Everything labeled which made it easier to find. Family summer getaway

Came here with a couple families and 5 kids ages 2-7. There was so much to do between the property outside, pools, hot tubs, beach trips, spa trips, etc. The only thing I would have wanted would be a washer/dryer, otherwise beautiful property and would definitely come back!

Great find!

Linda and Gary were excellent hosts and very communicative with me leading up to and during our stay. The property was great and had everything you could ask for for a fun weekend getaway. We were a group of 10 and had plenty of space to hang out during the day and sleep at night. We went wine tasting one day and were not far from the wineries we visited. My group loved this place and all agreed we would stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

We just spent 3 nights at this amazing vacation rental. We have family in different parts of California and this was the best property and home for all of us to come and enjoy together to build lasting memories. The house setup was perfectly spread out and well stocked, the outside had everything you needed and more! We got to enjoy the calmness of nature in the mornings, pool time during the day and hot tub and star gazing at night. Gary and Linda are wonderful hosts and we hope to come back again one day!

Amazing property with wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful time at the lodge! We are a very large family- 13 of us stayed for the weekend and had a blast! My husband and I, our adult children along with three grandchildren, all enjoyed this beautiful and cozy home. It is such a peaceful and quiet location and there is so much to do. We enjoyed bocce ball, pool, the Jacuzzis, fire pit, swing and the many games left for the guests by the wonderful hosts, Linda and Gary. We stay in many VRBO‘s and this one was truly one of the very best! Everything you could possibly need is in this home, including the very well supplied and labeled kitchen. The rooms were all so well appointed and beds very cozy! We look forward to coming back here one day!

10 of us stayed four nights at The Lodge in order to attend graduation at Cal Poly. It was beyond perfect for us. From the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy beds to the AMAZING outdoor spaces--there was nothing this house didn't offer. We spent time swimming, in the hot tubs (there are 2!), and playing bocce ball, corn hole and pool. It was so fun and relaxing for my extended family. And the setting was gorgeous. It was quiet and private. Linda and Gary were wonderfully gracious hosts; so thoughtful and attentive. Linda met us at the house to personally give us a tour and answer any questions. She was available via text all weekend, answering any question and offering help and advice. If you are looking for a large home that will satisfy and entertain a group of various ages and interests, this is it.

Fabulous Birthday Getaway

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property. The home was immaculate, and had everything we could possibly need. The property has so much to do, pool, hot tub, pool table, darts, ect. It was an amazing place to spend a weekend getaway. Gary and Linda, the owners were so gracious and left us a sweet welcome package, and were very responsive to any questions we had. I would recommend this place 5 times over. :-)

This was our second stay at Linda and Gary’s beautiful property. We had a wonderful time. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for our large group. The well appointed kitchen made cooking for everyone a breeze, they had everything we needed. We only left the house for groceries as there was so much to keep us entertained between swimming, lawn games and playing pool. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Fun in the hot hot sun!

We booked the house Labor Day weekend, which turned out to be unseasonably warm. We mainly stayed at the house, and there was plenty to do to keep 4 adults and 4 kids entertained, especially the pool, which gets nice shade. Linda went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable!
