A truly memorable stay and the perfect weekend getaway! We kayaked every morning, got crabs at the various restaurants and went to some of the amazing local fairs over the weekend. We wanted a quiet getaway and got just that!
We had a wonderful stay at Maria & Kevin's cottage. The views were amazing, tastefully decorated home. We didn't bring our dog on this trip, but nice to know we could have. Very clean and comfortable home.
Had a great time at Tilghman Island in this lovely cottage - picture perfect views of Dogwood Harbor and the Chesapeake - watched the boats come and go in the bay - close to St. Michael’s for shopping and great restaurants/taverns. Tilghman has a couple cute shops and places to eat. Nothing better than sitting on the deck overlooking the Chesapeake - Life is good
“What a beautiful place to stay — the harbor and bay views were absolutely stunning, morning and night. This home had everything we needed and more, making our stay so comfortable and easy. Truly an excellent spot that we’d return to again and again!”Pet friendly and access to kayaking. My dog loved swimming with me when I kayaked.I would recommend this place.
Wonderful, wonderful home - a cozy spot with a panorama of water. Just a 5 minute walk to a shop that has everything you might need, and just 5 minutes drive from at least 3 restaurants. Three of us plus dog stayed here for a week, and it was a real break from the hustle and bustle of DC - a place of beauty, and most of all, a place of tranquility. Enjoyed kayaking on the water, and watching the sun rise over the bay.
Unique location, great (more than 270 degrees) panoramic views, well equipped house, hundreds of birds, private dock, 3 kayaks, tricycle, grill and fire pit, surprising welcoming bottle of wine with candies. What else do you need for 3 days break from hustle and bustle?
Our stay at Point of View cottage was wonderful! Everything was exactly as described. Communication with Maria was excellent and her recommendations were spot on! We will definitely stay there again!
Our hose, Maria was very gracious and accommodating. The unit was clean as a whistle and furnished well. The view was everything with water all around us...just steps out our front door. A visit to St. Michaels, a short 20 minute drive, is a must for shopping and dining. We will be back
This place was wonderful and the host was very helpful, easy, accommodating and responded very promptly. The views are amazing! There’s a wraparound porch on 3 sides so you can see all three views of the Chesapeake. The locals are very nice! The place was very clean and comfortable. The dogs loved it. There is a nice size yard they can run around in but bring a leash because there are some rabbits! lol! Many great places to eat and it’s only 15-20 minutes from St. Michaels and such a nice drive! It was cool watching the crab boats come in. I would definitely go back!
Couple & furkids seeking rest & relaxation found it here at the POV! Loved everything about it it was WOW from the moment we walked in. Loved how private it was. Loved watching sunrise on the water in the kayaks provided, loved watching the watermen come and go, walking to the Country store for muffins and watermelon gazpacho and all kinds of goodies, lounging on the dock watching the sunset. It was all just ridiculously perfect!! The tasteful coastal decor, all the windows looking out onto the water on 3 sides!, we were so content just to stay put and relax. Thank you for providing such a great place to getaway from it all! Oh, the wine and chocolates were top notch. We did leave the island one evening for a sunset sail on the Lady Patty wonderful as well! We'll be back!!!
We had a wonderful stay at the Point of a View Cottage! The views are spectacular and we also enjoyed how easy it was to walk to places to eat and the local market. Recommendations for places to eat were spot on and also appreciated a message over the weekend notifying us of the local craft market held Sunday morning. Would love to come again one day!

Jennifer, so happy you enjoyed your stay at the Point of View! Would love to host your group again in the future!
Title: The View! The View! The View!Everywhere you look, beautiful water views! With windows on three sides of the apartment, we enjoyed watching the birds and taking in the gorgeous scenery. So peaceful and tranquil! The hosts were very responsive and answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. Provided us with coffee too!! The apartment is a cozy, nicely appointed two-bedroom unit with comfortable furnishings. It is on the smaller side, especially for two couples, but we found it quite comfortable. There is only one bathroom, which wasn't a problem for us.One thing worth noting for future guests is that the apartment is located on the second floor, so be prepared for stairs. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with spectacular water views, this is a lovely spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Wow - the views were amazing and the cottage was clean and very charming. The hostess gave us all sorts of information ahead of our arrival and very accommodating. The little touches she adds to the cottage were wonderful. We will be returning to this little beauty! Thank you so much for sharing your place with us!
Beautiful location, great views, beautiful sun rises, view of working watermen Dogwood Harbour. Owner met us at the property with a bottle of wine — very friendly. Tilghman Island is a quaint and beautiful gem.

Thanks so much and looking forward to hosting you again in the future.
The home was so well appointed and walking distance to stores, restaurants, quaint museums and beautiful nature. The host was so friendly and helpful with quick responses. We had high winds and lots of rain, but stayed cozy and warm. What a friendly Island of people!!
Enjoyed our 3-day stay on the Tilghman Island cabin. There were two rooms and a nice sitting area and open kitchen. We had a steak BBQ dinner on the grill and had a nice campfire in the fire pit. I took our child on the sit-on kayak for a paddle around the lagoon. Recommend this property for a peaceful, quiet time watching the birds and easy distance to St. Michaels.

The cottage was perfect for me, my husband and our doggies. A bit smaller than I imagined but it had everything we needed for our little vacation. The water views from inside the cottage were amazing! You could watch the oyster and crab boats go out to the big back bays and come back in. There is a lot of wildlife: lions, ducks, herons, wrens, seagulls, eagles, crabs, jellyfish, etc.

So happy you enjoyed your stay at the Point of View! Hope you return!
You will not be disappointed at "A Point of View". The water views on three sides of the cottage were spectacular at any time of day. The cottage was charming, immaculate and so well appointed. We enjoyed being able to walk to many places and especially the country market. You won't want to miss it. Our host was amazing with prompt replies and offered suggestions for dining and shopping. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Maria and Kevin!
I only had a slightly wider view of the water from a kayak- the panoramic view from the deck was peaceful and beautiful from first light to sunset (though the night coasts were relaxing as well). Inside was clean and had nice decorative touches. We had all we needed to cook in when we did. Easy to walk or ride around and an easy drive to surrounding attractions. We'll be back!
Our stay was amazing! Words cannot say enough! The view is magical. We enjoyed coffee on the porch to watch the sunrise and the crab/oyster boats going in and out.
Maria, is a wonderful and very thoughtful host. At her recommendation, we went to the free wine tasting at the General Store at the end of the street. We met several local residents who could not be more kind and fun to talk with.
We can't wait to come back and stay again.

It was a pleasure hosting you Debbie and you are welcome back anytime!
The Point of View was a wonderful location! My wife continues to rave about this place with friends. We loved the view, the cool breezes on hot days, the daily entertainment from a variety of birds: osprey, great blue heron, white heron, egrets, etc. We plan to definitely go back. Maria, the hostess was very helpful. She surprised us with a welcome basket of wine and snacks and well wishes for our anniversary. You've got to check out The Country Store!!
