Wonderful, clean, large space right in the middle of things in La Jolla. Super close to La Jolla Cove. Great communication with host. Highly recommend. Note this area is busy and fun and you’ll want ear plugs for the weekend.

A nice location with a lovely view. Very clean and welcoming. The host communicated every day to ensure all our needs were met and the private parking spot was convenient.

It was a great experience! The views are amazing and we got a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival which was nice! Keep in mind, the balcony faces the street, so it's fun to people watch. As for the location, I truly do not think you could get better in all of La Jolla. So many great resturants and activities in walking distance. You are also steps away from the infamous La Jolla seals and coastal trail walk. I 100% reccommend this stay! Only thing to keep in mind, parking can be very tight, so try to rent a small car.

PERFECT LOCATION if you want to be within walking distance of excellent restaurants, cafes, shopping, ocean views, walking to the Children's Pool and the Coast walking trail. We didn't need a car and just rideshared whenever we did. The property managers were very easy to get ahold of and helpful getting us situated. The place was clean when we arrived. The view out the back was lovely.As described, it is a bit noisy because it's basically an urban condo situation. The businesses surrounding the place have trash pickup, etc. early; the music from the restaurant next door started in the afternoon into the evening. So, bring earplugs if you need for sleeping. My only suggestion is that they invest in a couple more light blocking panels for the windows to block out the bright lights in the front. Bring an eye mask if that bothers you. Overall, we were very happy with the place!

Awesome Place!

What a charming cottage with beautiful ocean views! Great location in the heart of downtown walkable to the beaches, restaurants, etc. Mgmt Co was very responsive from beginning to end taking care of everything so I could have a wonderful stay. Welcome bottle of wine was a thoughtful touch and delicious!

Great little place in the center of all the action of LaJolla shores. It can be a little loud in the early morning when the trash picks up, but that was about all we experienced. Nothing out of the ordinary. Would definitely stay here again.

If you want to be directly in La Jolla Village, all the shop’s & restaurants, then this is your place! Check-in was easy. Communications with mgmt was great! The place was super clean. Parking in the garage was fine. But if the elevator in the garage is not working, you’ve got a short walk with about 50 steep stairs. Doable. Elevator was 50/50. The place is perfect for 2. Kitchen has the bare essentials. Other reviews noted noise from outside the place. We would concur. Busy restaurant right next door w/patrons in/out until closing w/some music. We normally sleep with white noise at home. We did here also; just a level higher. Morning street noise came from delivery & refuse trucks…started a little early. This may be the only downside staying here. Our stay was great. Morning walks along the ocean pathways, afternoons out discovering local things to do (LJ tide pools, Windansea beach, Torrey Pines Gliderport, & Mt Soledad), and good restaurants. Lots of Good here!

Beautiful View!

This place has spectacular views and is conveniently located. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return! I do wish there was a tad more countertop space or additional shelf to use for extra space in the bathroom (doing makeup, hair etc.) The local trash and delivery truck traffic is quite noisy on the inside and starts early. That was the ONLY downside.

Great location but noisy place.

This clean, very nice property is a perfect location for staying in the hub of shops, restaurants, oceans views and beach. I gave this place a 5 star because of the cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff. However, know that because of it's location and lack of adequate insulation you will hear street noise. Another reviewer mentioned early morning delivery and garbage trucks and boy is that correct. Every morning of our stay we were awakened between 530 -630 am by this noise. So, if your looking for a place of beauty within walking distance to most things and you don't mind not be able to sleep in without ear plugs, this is the place for you!

Disclosure

This unit has significant trade-offs. It should be noted that there are likely over a dozen popular restaurants within 100 yards, which is a good thing, but this also means dozens of noisy garbage and recycling trucks, food delivery trucks, and other restaurant-related trucks delivering items every day between 6am-9am. It also means loud restaurant/bar patrons during 6pm-11pm or later. The apartment is new and well appointed and clean inside, but structurally, the building is old and there is poor insulation and windows to keep noise out. There is also bright exterior lighting intentionally positioned onto the building to promote the shops below when it's dark (even though they're closed when it's dark). However, it also lights up the interior of apartment because there are not enough blinds/drapes to keep the light out. On-street parking is a challenge at all hours. There is off-street parking provided about 5-10 minutes walk away with approximately 50 stairs in between. It is also a challenge to get in and out of the parking structure. Bring your eye mask, ear plugs, and melatonin if you want to sleep. Also, do not bring a truck or SUV.

Location was exactly as pictured we enjoyed being close to shopping, coffee, and restaurants as we were able to walk everywhere. Host / Property Management was very responsive and communicated with us throughout our stay. We were able to check in early which we were so appreciative of because we were so exhausted from traveling. A little noisy some nights (weekend nights) because you are in the heart of La Jolla, so recommend a box fan or something to drown out the noise on busier nights - but overall we really enjoyed our stay here.
