This 1441 sq. ft., 3-bedroom, 2 full bath home exudes a cozy atmosphere and has plenty of space inside and out for guests seeking a serene and immersive bayou experience. It offers comfortable accommodations for up to 7 guests. Master Bedroom: Queen Bed I Bedroom #2: Queen Bed I Bedroom #3: Twin over Full bunkbed and a standalone Full bed. Enjoy the convenience of this fully renovated home including a full kitchen, washer & dryer, large screen smart TV and Wi-Fi. The large living room includes plenty of comfy seating with a full-size couch, loveseat and chairs which are perfect for late night movies or playing the many provided games.

Whether you’re experienced or a beginner angler, Reposez-Vous on the Bayou is located just across from Bayou Barbary and short boat ride to Lake Marpaus. Guest are welcome to bring their own watercraft to tie at the property’s boat slip. You’ll have multiple boat launch options, just a short 10 min. drive includes access to Black Lake boat launch & bar, which provides easy access to Blind River and some good eats or Pete's Landing. Grab your fishing gear and boat and head out to enjoy a full day of casting lines or enjoy catching a variety of fish right off the deck, including catfish, sac-o-lait, gar and many others.

As the sun sets and the stars come out to play, Reposez-Vous the Bayou transforms into a magical oasis where the sounds of crickets, frogs and owls provide a soothing backdrop to your evening. Gather around the firepit and enjoy a drink, roast some marshmallows, or just share some great stories.

Also, please note: you will be sharing the area with all types of critters that make up the unique ecosystem. Be expecting to see alligators, nutria, lizards, snakes, egrets, eagles, geckos, hawks, owls, turtles, maybe a drunk cajun, etc..
