This is due to the variety of travelers we welcome to the area. Some visitors spend a little time in the home, preferring to explore the outdoors and beaches & consuming very little electricity at home, while others prefer to spend their entire vacation in the home enjoying our amenities and consuming a larger amount of electricity. Without the differentiation in price for electricity, we would be forced to increase the rate of the rental for all guests. In an effort to be fair, we have decided to separate this fee and charge guests according to their usage.
An electric meter reading will be taken at check-in and again at check-out to determine your usage. You will be charged at the government rate (no additional fees from the host) at the rate of 6thb per kW/h, which usually equates to a daily rate of 300thb to 600thb (9usd to 18usd)depending on AC usage. Please turn off the AC when you are not home. Charges can be paid in local currency upon departure. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
