This cabin is located on a dead end road and has its own private parking for 1 car.

Our favorite part is the deck area which has gorgeous view to the Santa Monica mountains and Garapito creek. In general, you will experience all kinds of wildlife. Hummingbirds, Finches, California quails, frogs, Monarch butterflies, wild rabbits, owls, peacocks, hawks and more (sometimes snakes, beware where you are walking).

The cabin is bright and airy during the day, yet quiet and dark at night. In order to respect the wildlife of the canyon, we keep outdoor night lights and landscape lights to a minimum.

Inside, the space is intimate, a perfect spot for a writer's retreat or a peaceful break from the city. Amenities include a kitchennette, an outdoor kitchen, a small bbq grill and a mini fridge with basic essentials needed for 2 people.

The shower can turn into a semi outdoor private shower.

We are a short walk to the state park with amazing trails and a 10min drive to the ocean. You can walk to town (though not very pedestrian friendly) or drive for 7min. We are 3min drive to Topanga Living Cafe. Topanga Canyon Boulevard is a scenic route with gorgeous views but note that it is a very windy road. Also note, that many roads in the canyon are not paved and dark at night.
