The house feels big and has great curb appeal. The inside feels very generic, many scuffs on the walls in the hallway and holes left in the wall in the bathroom where no one bothered to repair the drywall from removed towel rods. The house was 80 degrees when we arrived and took 12 hours to get down to 70, but after that it maintained the temperature well. The street behind the house is loud and busy but overall wasn't too intrusive.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. That day happened to be the hottest day of the summer, and the previous guests had turned off the air conditioning before checking out, which caused the indoor temperature to rise quickly.
Since your check-in was around 10, the outdoor temperature had already dropped and was much cooler. As soon as you contacted us, we promptly helped you locate and turn on the thermostat. We also opened the windows and turned on the ceiling fans in each room to help circulate the air and cool the home. Under these conditions, the temperature should normally return to a comfortable level within 1–2 hours. We understand that waiting during this brief period may have been inconvenient, and we appreciate your patience.
Regarding the noise, the home is not located directly along a main traffic road. There is very little vehicle traffic passing behind the property during the day, and the home sits on approximately 0.24 acres, with a significant distance between the house and the driveway. We have not previously received reports from guests experiencing difficulty sleeping due to traffic noise.
Regarding the minor scratches on the wall, these were caused by a previous guest. While we agree that they make the home look less than perfect, they do not affect the functionality of the home or our guests’ ability to stay comfortably. We have noted the issue and will arrange to have the wall repaired.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to maintain and improve the property for our future guests.
We loved having the VRBO! Great space for all of us to have meals and be together
Perfect for our family!

Craftsman Hideaway
Lixin was wonderful to communicate with. She was prompt and professional.
The property itself could be in better repair:
-various broken mini blinds
-the laundry door to outside does not latch…has to be in locked position
-master bath shower-head bracket broken
-missing a wheel in dishwasher
-missing towel bar/bracket and toilet paper holder
-paint peeling off stair railing
-floor outlet in loft is broken and is a hole in the floor
-Light switch broken
-couldn’t find a way to turn on back porch lights
-light bulbs missing
-pantry had open/broken crackers/trash on floor
-hole in kitchen ceiling…maybe an old leak or something?
-kitchen towels bleached and stained
-only found two washcloths which were also bleached/maybe they were cleaning rags as my face broke out after using.
Location was convenient.

Thank you for the reviews. I have 7 listings on Airbnb. I have maintained superhosts for over two years. As of today my review is 4.97. There were 88 comments. Although I'm a new face at Vrbo. But I'm gonna be a great landlord here. Because I take every house very seriously. Try my best to serve every guest. Your information is very important to me, for example, I am not sure which blind curtain you said has problems, I will check it. Of course, I am aware of several problems, but since it is Christmas, I cannot find workers to repair them, so I apologize to you. For example, the shower head in the bath was broken, and a small cover on the ground was broken by a before guests. I have repaired these problems, and I hope that in this special happy holiday, the customers can understand and forgive my inability to do anything. As for the hole in the kitchen roof, it was because the upstairs bathroom leaked a few days ago. The workers opened it for inspection and asked it to dry for a few days before installing new roofing materials. The backyard door is locked, the hallway light is another switch you didn't find. Because you are a guest can not find it is normal, if you ask me I will definitely guide you how to use. Unfortunately, it's too late for that. I have never had a customer complain that the paint on my stair railings has come off and made them unhappy. It's normal for every house to have flaws and imperfections, and the towels are clean no matter what. Some are a little discolored but won't hurt the guest's face skin. Perhaps you are traveling from other places and are sensitive to climate change?thank you very much for these reminders, You helped me do a good job for the guests in the future. Welcome back anytime.
We really loved the location, size of the house, and plenty of room for parking. The host was tricky to communicate with but he inevitably came through for us on an early check in because we were in a pinch. The only negatives to our experience were that the couches and patio furniture were falling apart and there was a very noticeable smell of animals throughout the house. Most notably in the utility room.
