Timber Landing features one tiny home with a full shower, bathroom, and laundry as well as two bunkhouses for a comfy nights rest. Timber Landing is a great place for your group to relax this summer!
Located on the Wisconsin River and Castle Rock Lake in Necedah, WI, our property sits on 8 acres. This allows for privacy and relaxation during your stay while enjoying the studio tiny home and two bunkhouses on the waterfront. You will have your own private hot tub and sauna to help you unwind and enjoy your beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
The space:
The tiny home has a kitchen, seating area, bathroom with walk-in shower, laundry room with an additional half bath, and a queen bed nook with twin bed lofted over the queen. There is no door to the nook. It is tucked around the back wall of the kitchen for privacy.
Bunkhouse One: The family suite has a king bed, a lofted twin bed and a lower twin bed as well as a couch and a dresser. This is heated and cooled with a mini split and is very comfortable for sleeping during the summer.
Bunkhouse Two: the couples cottage has a king bed and dresser and is heated abs cooked with a mini-split for your comfort. There is a 5 person hot tub on the patio of the tiny home that is yours to use during your stay. A wood-fired cedar barrel sauna is on property as well, and is available for use by our guests. If you have questions about use of the sauna just let us know!
There is a fire pit and a limited amount of wood is provided. Depending on how many fires you plan on having you might want to bring some wood with you when you come.
The entire space is yours while you are here. This makes it a great spot to relax, but also makes it a place where wild animals will choose to live. Please be aware that it is 8 acres of land surrounded by woods. You will see animals while you are out here which include deer, turkeys, and possibly a fox, coyote, or porcupine. Please be aware of this possibility during your stay.
The waterfront and dock is just steps from the home. Depending on the temperature, the water does not usually freeze solid so please be careful if you access the ice from the stairs. The best place to access frozen ice is around the corner of Cty. Rd. G at Fish Lake!
We try to provide everything we can to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen has a full-size oven, microwave, and good size refrigerator, but no dishwasher. There is a three burner gas griddle with propane tank provided for your use on the patio. There is also a washer and dryer in the main unit.
We have TDS fiber optic Internet in the main cabin. The Wi-Fi does not always reach to the other cabins, but works very well in the main area. There is a TV in the cabin that is used for logging into your streaming services. There are also some books, games, cards, and guitars to enjoy!

We have a nice wide gravel access road leading to the property and then a bumpier road wide enough for one vehicle will take you around the perimeter of the property to the tiny home. We will keep this plowed during the winter, but please note if it snows during your stay the plow will come when the snow is finished. Shovels are available in the shed to clear any paths you may need during your stay!
