About this property
Brian Head's-Beautiful, Sunny and Spacious, Ski-In/Ski-Out Mountain Home
Get away from all the hustle and bustle. Come sit by a cozy fire while drinking a cup of hot chocolate. Bring friends and family on a fun vacation up to Brian Head, UT located in the heart of Southern Utah's most beautiful landscapes. Great for hiking, biking, fishing, photography, 4-wheeling, skiing, snowboarding, inner tubing etc. Come and experience one of the most memorable vacations.
Our beautiful, sunny and spacious cabin is located in paved neighborhood of Trails at Navajo. It is nestled in the trees on the Navajo slopes with ski-in ski-out accommodations. We have all the modern amenities that you enjoy at home including a well stocked kitchen, stainless steel appliances, a large sunlit family room, extra-long dining table for all your family and friends and a bonus basement with large flat screen TV with a large selections of movies.
Accommodations: Our home is a 6 bedroom, 4 ¼ bath home with beds for 19. We also have 2 twin inflatables and a port-a-crib. We have plenty of sheets, blankets, pillows and towels so no need to fill your cars with these. We provide shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, soft soap, dishwasher soap etc.
Winter: We recommend that you take advantage of the wonderful ski and snowboard instruction available at Brian Head especially the kids camp at the Navajo Resort. It is inexpensive and fun. The resort offers both group and private snowboard or skiing instructions. They have lift ticket and lesson packages. Go to Brian Head.com to make reservations ahead of time especially during the holidays. Please be aware there are 2 ski resorts connected by a bridge. Giant steps resort has the more advanced skiing. There are also 2 inner tube parks.
Unless you are purchasing a package, we prefer Georg's for equipment rental. They have it all including skis, snowboards, snowshoes, cross country equipment and winter clothing. Ask for the Harpster discount.
Spring/Summer/Fall: The resort offers biking, hiking, 4 wheeling and fishing tours. On summer weekends in town there are several activities for the kids including alpine slide, zip line, climbing wall and bungee trampoline to name a few. There is also the new lake including a playground, basketball court, pickle ball court, picnic benches and fire pits. A short distance away is Cedar Breaks, Navajo Lake, Panguitch Lake and Bryce Canyon. We also enjoy the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City in the Summer and Fall. They offer a variety of professional plays and even have baby sitting available. Go to Bard.org for information. Cedar City Aquatic Park is worth the drive. It has multiple pools inside and out including a lazy river, giant slide, play equipment and much more.
We recommend that you drink LOTS of water on the way up. Sports drinks offering electrolytes are even better. The elevation of our home is 9,800 ft. The base at Giant Steps is 10,000 ft.
Food services are limited at Brian Head. Cedar City has a Smiths, Walmart and Lins for groceries. Parowan has a smaller store called Food Town. Please note it closes at 9:00 pm. There are also two small markets in Brian Head. They are a little pricey but great for forgotten items.
Most importantly…. Relax, enjoy, have fun and make yourself at home.........

Hands down the BEST property we’ve stayed in Brian Head. The house is beautiful, and the kitchen has everything we needed! It was truly the perfect stay for our group which consists of three families. The basement was perfect for all the kids to hang and play board games while the upstairs was solely for the adults. The house is technically ski in and ski out if we had more snow this winter, but it was so good to ski/snowboard/walk to the cabin to eat lunch. The hosts, Gwen and Chuck, were very attentive and communicative throughout the stay. We hope to stay again!

No this was advertised as a ski in and ski out Lodge and it’s not you have to get on a path and it’s not clear which path you’re supposed to be on they have a paper explaining how to do the ski in ski out but it’s not clear I think they need to make signs but you can not ski right from the property and the driveway is really steep. The garage is very small and they told us that we had to park in the steep driveway with snow and ice we had 4 families and had to park 4 trucks in a small 2 car garage and on a steep driveway. The cabin was very beautiful and I loved how each room had its own bathroom the kitchen was well stocked for everything you needed and host answered all your questions in a timely manner . We have 4 families and we had a lot of space the kids loved the downstairs
We love this beautiful cabin. Fully equiped with everything you might need. We have stayed here 5 or 6 summers and it never disappoints. Looking forward to our next stay.
The place has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It accommodated all our family members and friends, everyone had their own space to relax and unwind.
We traveled with children from ages 13 to 19 and everyone, including the adults had a fantastic time! The set up of the cabin is perfect for groups and the ski and ski out was perfect too!
Great place, no complaints, only recommendation is downstairs under cabinet there were mouse traps where young children could access them. Thx for the rental.
The property was wonderful. The ski in/ski out was tricky but the cabin accommodated our family well.

Thank you for your review. Great to know that the cabin worked out well for your group. Not exactly sure what made the ski-in, ski-out tricky, but I'm always available to help anytime. There is also a house booklet with additional information including pictures and maps.
The property manager is amazing! Beautiful and well kept property. Love the fully stocked kitchen and ease of ski in and ski out. We loved our stay with 5 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of space!
Great property for our youth group. We had a wonderful stay and the property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances.

We both love to ski, snowshoe, atv and hike so Brian Head was the perfect choice for us. Utah is a great escape from the crowds in CA. Living at the beach in California has spoiled us with cool summer weather. We also find cool temperatures in Brian Head in the summer. It's always a debate whether we like summer or winter better in Brian Head. Summer is great but it's hard to beat fresh powder and a sunny day with friends and family. We currently have 9 grandkids who love coming up the mountain to ski, tube, hike, fish and of course play with Grandpa and Grandma.
Why they chose this property
We have been coming to Brian Head for more than 25 years. It is such a great, affordable family place in summer as well as winter. Since we enjoyed it so much, we decided to buy our own home. We instantly loved this house as soon as we walked in the front door. Just like our ad says, It is bright, sunny and spacious. We really appreciate the views from every window. Also, the layout was perfect for our family and friends. Plenty of room to be together or to spread out.
What makes this property unique
We love the fact that our home is in a paved neighborhood with city water and sewage. It can get really muddy reaching some of the properties in Brian Head.
