Family stay

Had a large group of family come down for a week and the property was great. Spacious, clean and had plenty of entertainment. Plenty of communication with the owner who was very nice and accommodating. Will stay again if in the area.

A place to remember will truly be a place to remember for our group. The home is very spacious and we had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. It was truly as advertised. Having two kitchens was a real plus as we were able to adequately prepare meals without stumbling over each other. If we’re ever in need of a place this size again, we will definitely be back.

A place for all ages

Our family of 15 stayed here - more than enough space for sleeping and hanging out. Having two kitchens was nice! Quiet neighborhood, close to Walmart and other grocery stores.

Bowling stay

Was in town for the national bowling tournament found this beautiful home to stay at and its huge loved the theater room which i originally didn't know was here when i booked but definitely a nice surprise. This place also has 2 laundry rooms which 1 of them is in the half bath and 2 kitchens the only real knock was a previous guest must have damaged the air hockey table leg and the bumpers on the the pool table they were still usable

Perfect home for a large group

We traveled with 8 grown adult men and the house had more than enough room. Genika was an amazing host and was a swift communicator and helped us with every question asked. The home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of amenities nearby. I highly recommend Genika’s home for your stay in Baton Rouge!

Wedding celebration with family and friends

My bride and I (senior couple) said our vows here. We and our family from out of town stayed here so that it would be close to my 92 yo mother who lives in BR. The house is huge, and nicely decorated. It accommodated our small family and friends with no issues. The second kitchen was a plus.

Just what we needed

Overall the property was nice. Everything was clean, the property owner was very responsive when we had an issue with a locked door, and the location was central to the locations we needed for a family wedding. My one feedback is that the pool table is old and not really playable for adults, but the kids had fun rolling the balls around. Also, the air hockey table needs repairs. Other than that, it was great!

The property was very nice. It was spacious and met the description as stated online. The check in process was easy. It was more than enough space for everyone also. The only issue we had was the air was not working properly. It took a long time for the house to cool off. The property manager was very responsive… recommend for a large group and will stay again.

Lovely Home

We enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very accommodating for our group of 20. The living room with large TV was great. However, the pool table was unusable (it had no bumpers and only one working cue stick), the air hockey game was broken, and the darts board was also unusable as most of the darts were broken and missing parts. Make sure you bring your own toilet paper, trash bags, and dishwasher soap as only one of each was provided in each room for a week's stay. The main kitchen had plenty of pans, dishes for about 8 people, and not much else. The second kitchen's cabinets and drawers were completely bare. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but the kids did get a bit bored since the game room activities weren't usable as described in the listing.

Spring Break 2025

The Host is accommodating to our requests. The house was good and fulfilled the space that we needed for our large family get away. The house had a nice big TV room and large showers throughout the house. Plenty of space to play cards or board games. But the house does need some TLC. We did have problems with the heat and AC that controlled one end of the house upstairs and downstairs. There are three thermostats and only two of them were working. All of the bedrooms downstairs were cold during the night. The two master bedrooms downstairs need the mattresses replaced. Pillows are required to be placed down the middle of the mattress to fill in the gap. March 2025
