Summary:

Inspired by my Dad's wanderlust and love of sea & sand. Relax and unwind in this completely remodeled, stylish Cottage a block and a half from Long Island Sound and .9 mile to Walnut Beach - walk to coffee, pizza, lobster shack! We offer a modern kitchen, breakfast nook, dining area, natural stone wall, parking and W/D. Located in a charming coastal town - enjoy quiet neighborhood walks, coastal trails, boardwalk, breweries and restaurants. 15 min to Yale/New Haven, 65 mi to NYC.



The Space:

We have successfully operated other Airbnbs in Milford - please check out our site and reviews! - "Beach Bungalow." We use our experience as hosts to always strive for a 5 star stay for our guests!



Casa Grandy Cottage sits on a property with another small completely separate unit in the back (also owned by us and has longer term tenants).



Parking: The driveway is for Casa Grandy Cottage use only : ) It can fit 2 cars. Please do not park on Botsford Street, it makes it very hard for our neighbors to back out and we are trying to be great and respectful neighbors, thank you!!



Casa Grandy Cottage was totally remodeled in 2021/22 - new floors, new kitchen, new bath! This 2 bed (upstairs) / 1 bath (downstairs) home is situated on a little street in Milford, situated between the Wildermere Beach and Walnut Beach areas. In the beach blocks the houses are nestled closely together. Our inspiration for this Cottage comes from my Dad's love of travel to both Coastal New England and out West.



This Cottage features:



1st Floor:

-Kitchen - stainless steel appliances, fully stocked

-Full bath

-Breakfast nook

-Living room (Roku tv)

-Dining area -seating for 4



2nd Floor:

-Bedroom 1 - queen size bed, memory foam mattress, dresser, closet

-Bedroom 2 - full size bed, memory foam mattress, closet



Driveway parking - 2 cars



This property is ideal for a small family or 2 couples



Dogs allowed upon request! Pets: if your pet comes along please make sure any potty breaks are bagged up and thrown away per Milford ordinance and if you're looking for a little grassy area, there is a Park on Broadway towards the right if facing the long Island Sound - Wildemere Park : )



YALE GUESTS - We are only 10 miles from Yale! We have hosted professors, students, prospective students and parents who all want to be close to New Have but experience the quieter side of Milford.

Other Things to Note:

Spring / Summer months - Our landscapers come by to weed every 2 weeks, usually on the weekends. They are only there about 15 minutes or so.

This beach cottage is adorable. It has a very peaceful vibe and plenty of space. Very easy going and right near the water. Walkable restaurants too. I would definitely stay here again. Such a cute little neighborhood.

My stay at Cozy Cottage, hosted by Cameron, was fantastic! Cameron was super responsive, and the cottage was spotlessly clean with fluffy bathroom towels. Perfectly equipped and just steps from the beach, it’s in a great location. I was happy to check out Remind Wellness spa and Bend Yoga studio both very close. I loved my morning walk to Walnut Beach Coffee. Highly recommend this charming retreat! Thanks, Cameron, for an amazing experience!

This cute home was exactly as described, clean, very comfortable beds, and nice location to walk on the beach. The only drawback (if you can call it that) is that the single bathroom is on the first floor, so if you come with kids keep that in mind as the bedrooms are on the second floor. No problem for my friend and I though. Check in and communication with owner was great, and we enjoyed our stay!

I needed a few days to get away and this house was perfect for my “staycation”. I only live 20 minutes away but felt like I was in another state! Enjoyable stay in Milford

My husband and I, along with our dog, stayed at this cottage during family weekend at my daughter’s university. Property was clean, conveniently located, pet friendly, and in a quiet neighborhood one block from the water. Communication with host was easy and all our questions were promptly answered. Beach Cottage

Needed a place to stay for 1 night unexpectantly and we lucked into this cozy property. Communications and check-in were great and we had no problems during our stay. The cottage was close to a community coffee house and local restaurants. While our time was limited, we found lots of little shops that would be great to explore! Hope to return in the future!

A lovely place! Very clean, modern and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. For example, we needed a replacement lightbulb and they had someone there within 45 mins to fix it!! Plenty of dishes and silverware, pots/pans, etc. Each room had its own AC unit which was nice to control the temperature individually. It is a 15 minute walk to Walnut beach (or you can park on the street and walk—parking at the beach is not free). We also drove to Silver Sands State Park beach which was a 7 parking fee because we are not Connecticut residents. There were very nice beach chairs available for our use.Would definitely stay here again!
