Inspection needed

This property was probably very nice when new however it was lacking maintenance. Doors and windows were in need of replacement, screens torn, tracks filled with grit and dirt. Windows very dirty. Plantation shutters in every room had months of accumulated dirt and floors required two moppings. Closets and cupboards were stuffed with random personal items, woven outdoor furniture was sun bleached and falling apart. Owner did not make garage available for parking. This property should have been inspected by VRBO for a quality assessment.I had to hire a cleaning service to make this place acceptable for our 30 day stay.

This is why tenants need to be screened They flew out from Minnesota because planned rental wouldn’t respond. All windows and window coverings were brand new… she searched and found a blade of grass She allowed additional people to enter our place after they left… Mud trampled through our white carpets Tickets from PGA West charged to us for her speeding She tried to get credit, and we didn’t agree So bad review Another professional real estate person viewed property an hour before she showed up, and immediately she had an offer for a three month rental!! VRBO and other property owners, we need a better way of screening this type of tenants
