Location

Bali is a coastal village on the north coast of Crete, about 30 km east of rethymnon and 45 km from heraklion (airport). It is built on a raised small peninsula so overlooks the bay and the sea. Bali has four beaches on four small creeks and a beach isle. From the village passes the national road heraklion-rethymnon (buses run every hour), making access to any part of the island very easy giving the visitors the chance to discover the beauty and history of the island.
Today Bali is a modern tourist resort with a wide variety of taverns, restaurants, small shops, diving center, bars, discos, as well as clinic and pharmacy.

Cleaning Policy
The house is delivered in a clean condition. The initial cleaning prior to arrival, as well as the final cleaning after guests’ departure, are included in the accommodation price.
Mid-stay cleaning is not included in the price.
The house is equipped with all necessary supplies and materials to allow guests to manage the basic cleaning and upkeep of the property during their stay.

Mid-Stay Cleaning Service
A mid-stay cleaning service can be arranged upon request, provided at least one day in advance, at a cost of €100.

Housekeeping & Towel Provision Policy
Please be advised that mid-stay housekeeping services are not included. For your convenience, each guest is provided with three (3) towel sets per week. Should you require additional towels, an extra towel set is available at a cost of €15 per person.

Swimming Pool Availability
Please note that the swimming pool is generally open from 16 May to 20 September, subject to weather conditions.
Accordingly, minor adjustments of a few days to the opening or closing dates may occur to ensure guest safety and comfort.

Thoughtful host!

Stavros was great - waited up for us in spite of our very late arrival on Christmas Eve (really early Christmas morning). He had traditional homemade Christmas goodies for us, which were promptly devoured by my children. The house was great - we could all spread out. Would go back again. Thank you, Stavros, for hosting us.

Die Beschreibung des Objektes entspricht nicht dem vorgefundenen Zustand. Die Küchenausstattung ist äußerst dürftig, keine Basics, wie Zucker, Salz,Pfeffer, Öl, Kaffe o.ä. Vorhanden. Geschirr hätte niemals für 6 Personen ausgereicht. Der versprochene Begrüßungskorb war nicht vorhanden. Die Außenanlage entspricht nicht den Bildern. Die Zimmerausstattung ist dürftig, die Klimaanlagen haben den Namen nicht verdient. Die Größe des Pools war 11,5 qm statt der angegebenen 18 qm. Das zweite Badezimmer mit „Dusche“ war unter der Treppe ca 2qm groß, hier kann kein Erwachsener duschen. Für 6 Erwachsene auf keinen Fall geeignet. Bei einem Stromausfall war der Vermieter nicht bereit zu telefonieren, es wurde nur per SMS kommuniziert. Die Gäste der Nachbar Villa haben sich beschwert und wurden aus dem Haus verwiesen. Die Gästetaxe, die in keiner Weise bei der Buchung erwähnt wurde, musste bei Anreise in Bar bezahlt werden - ohne Quittung. Für eine Woche wurden jeweils ein Handtuch, ein Duschtuch und ein Pooltuch gestellt. Zusätzliche Wäsche hätte zusätzlich gekostet. Die Lage ist ziemlich abseits, ohne Auto geht da gar nichts. Alles in allem - leider das Geld nicht wert. Schade.

Ein neues Haus - vor 10 Jahren?

Der Check-in lief an sich unkompliziert. Die Dame, die uns in Empfang nahm war allerdings etwas überrascht, dass wir ein paar Minuten zu früh da waren. Leider hatten wir keine Antwort von Vermieter auf unseren Wunsch früher ein zu checken erhalten. In der Anzeige stand 14 Uhr Check-in in der Nachricht vom Vermieter dann 15 Uhr was unangenehm für uns war, da unser Flug tatsächlich deutlich früher auf Kreta ankamen, als zur Buchung angegeben. Leider haben wir keinen "beleuchteten Orangensaft" bekommen - auf den war meine Frau schon sehr gespannt.Die Küchenzeile ist wir das Gesamte Mobiliar im Erdgeschoss schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber funktional eingerichtet mit kühl-Gefrierschrank, Ceranfeld, Ofen, Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine. Leider versagte nach der ersten Woche die Spülmaschine, was bis zu unserer Abreise nicht behoben wurde, obwohl mehrmals jemand deswegen vor Ort war.Die Zahl an Gläsern ist etwas Knapp bemessen.Leider funktionierten viele Lampen / Leuchtmittel im Haus nicht. Die Sofas sind mehrheitlich durchgesessen. Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern da. Mehr wäre schwierig geworden. Allerdings stand noch ein Klappbett im Wohnzimmer, aber wer will dort schlafen?Das WLAN ist Recht langsam.Wenn man keinen besonderen Luxus erwartet kann man es gut dort aushalten. Wer ein solches Ferienhaus mietet will sicher nicht seinen kompletten Urlaub darin verbringen, sondern die Insel erkunden.

Vi havde 4 skønne dage i huset. Dog synes jeg, det trængte til en ekstra rengøring, samt lige tjekke op på køkkenudstyr. Kaffemaskinen tog 50 min, for at lave kaffe, da den nok er helt kalket til. Stegepande samt brødkniv og saks burde udskiftes. Det kunne være en rigtig god ide, der lå et par opvasketabs og vaskemiddel, så der lige er noget til start. Det lå flot med udsigt over bjergene og dejlig isoleret.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Anreise komplett reibungslos und super entspannt abgelaufen, das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen mit einer tollen Aussicht! Wir sind angekommen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Entspannung pur, man hat komplette Privatsphäre. Nur ca 5 Autominuten entfernt befindet sich die schöne Stadt Bali mit seinen wunderschönen Stränden die vor allem zum Schnorcheln super geeignet sind. Rundum ein toller Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder!

La maison est très agréable et les propriétaires très chaleureux. Tout est pensé pour rendre votre séjour des plus agréables. ..les propriétaires sont extrêmement serviables et à l écoute de vos besoins .la maison se situe dans un havre de paix....Le jardin et sa piscine invite au repos et à la détente au son des cigales..le village de Bali est vraiment charmant avec de très bonnes tavernes,un centre médical et des plages idylliques.nous y retournerons c est certain!merci encore aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse. .

Wonderful views and modern accommodations

My husband and I stayed here with our two and a half year old son. We had a wonderful time. The highlight of the property was the heard of sheep or goats (we never could decide which) that came through the backyard each night. The view all around was beautiful. The yard was great for our son to run around. We only used the pool once since it was starting to get cool out. The interior was nice and modern. The owner was wonderful and waited for us far past when we thought we'd arrive. We asked about having food when we got there and it was wonderful! We rented a car, which is a must for this property and to see the sights. There are lots of restaurants and markets within 5-15 minutes. Beautiful views everywhere. We took a long day trip down to Elifonisi beach on the southwest coast. It was a long drive, but worth it for the beautiful beach that was very kid-friendly because of the shallow water. Nearby, we explored Melidoni Cave, Rethymno, Panormos, and drove around the mountains. The only slight drawback with a child was the staircase, which was tiled and close to the bedroom our son slept in. Otherwise, everything was perfect. This would be a great place to have a large group rent multiple units, which we'd love to do in the future.
