Spring Break - 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the first time we have stayed at the Moorings in a very long time and overall we’re pleased with the experience. We were in building 3 and thought the location was convenient to the pool, the grills, the laundry area and the beach. We have never stayed at a condo that didn’t have its own washer and dryer and although slightly inconvenient our location to the laundry area made it it do able. There are adequate machines and it is well maintained. Perhaps if we were not with an 10 month old it would have been fine? The condo itself could have had better window treatments. There were no room darkening drapes in the bedrooms and that made it difficult for a baby to sleep. The living room drapes were poorly affixed to the wall and were also scanty when closed in the evening. The area rug needs to be replaced as it was worn. Lastly, the cereal bowls supplied were inadequate. All other features were good. The unit was well cleaned and the furniture was comfortable. Also, loved that The Moorings supply beach chairs/umbrellas and some pool toys for children. The outdoor property is beautiful! We have been visiting Sanibel for forty years and just love it! Eat at Doc Fords, Cips and The Green Flash. Kids will love The Tipsy Turtle for dinner. Check out The Shack for frozen custard - you won’t be disappointed. Hire a private fishing guide for a half day, become addicted to shelling, see the sunrise on the beach and set on Captiva. Bring your family to explore, unwind and reset!
