Rare beautiful large property located directly on Federal Highway.

LIVING: The highlight of the property, aside from it's close proximity to the beach, is the large private heated salt water pool. The house is a roomy 3 bedroom/2 bath house. The master bathroom was custom built with mosaic style colorful flooring and contains a unique vintage cast iron tub. The kitchen is fully updated with modern appliances and marble countertops. The house is also equipped with a washer and dryer.

LOCATION: Being so far east, you are centrally located only 3 blocks away from the Lake Worth Beach Golf Club and intercoastal; less than 1 mile to the beach and Lucerne Ave (full of restaurants and bars). All grocery stores and shops are within walking distance in a charming, quiet, and safe historic neighborhood. Only 10 minutes to Downtown West Palm Beach and WPB Airport, and less than 10 minutes to Highway 95, which will give you access to all of South Florida (Fort Lauderdale and Miami).

Wonderful little gem north of Miami

The host was responsive and attentive and the property itself is lovely. The rooms were plenty large enough to accommodate our family of six, and the pool is a nice feature. I appreciated the locking gate at the fence. We had rented a car that we used to get to most of the places we were visiting, but there are some highly rated restaurants that are within a few blocks if you want to stick to walkable locations. Groceries are a little far for carrying large loads, but still walkable in that it's just over a mile round trip. The area has a lot of latin cuisine, which was great for us, including a couple of Cuban restaurants that are really fun. We mostly got rained out of our beach plans so can't really comment on accessibility to the beach from here, but there's a lot to do nearby on rainy days and we kept busy for the few days we stayed here. If you're using Google or another GPS map to find the property, make sure you enter the address for the correct city, as there are several locations along 95/Route 1 that share the same address, but are in a different city. It didn't trip us up, but might have if we weren't paying attention. I'd recommend this spot for anyone who wants to be slightly little off the beaten path but still in the middle of authentic south Florida.

Vacation Get-a-Way

We needed to plan a quick vacation somewhere warm. We always use VRBO. Found this beautiful rental in Lake Worth Beach. What attracted us was the private heated pool. Lucas the owner was awesome. The small city has lots of downtown restaurants and the beach is very close.

We had a very time time at this house. . Owner was really nice, couple small things were fixed timely and we loved the pool- the location is very nice. We would stay again if in the area. Recommend

What makes this property unique

This property has 2 units; a full 3 bed/2 bath single family home, which you would be renting, and on the other side is a 1 bedroom apartment above the storage garage, which is where I am currently living, as the owner of the property.

The guests have full access to the house and the entire backyard. The pool is completely private and fenced in and is only accessible by the 2 units. This is a house, not a condo or community, so the pool and backyard are completely private to the guests. There is a driveway that can be used to park a car for guests, and there is street parking adjacent to the house on a quiet private street.

There may be an option to rent out the other unit as well, but I would need advanced notice to prepare that for renting.
