Perfect little place right on the river

We loved this little place right on the river. Awesome sunrise view over the water, and really nice back deck with comfortable chairs. Short drive to downtown Madison with lots of restaurants and shops. Clean and cozy. Really accurate pictures and description. Will definitely come back! Only downside was the place smelled really strongly like cooked fish, presumably from guests before us. There was febereeze, a fan and lots of windows to help get rid of it.

Cute and off the beaten path

Cute tiny house right outside of Madison directly on the river. We enjoyed Clift falls park and Madison with quiet evenings sitting by the river.

Best view of the River

Will I stay here again. Absolutely. The unit was cleaned nicely. The water pressure for the shower was so nice. The view of the river was outstanding. We loved watching the barges go up and down the river. They had two chairs with fire pit and firewood. It was to cold for our visit but would have loved to have a fire along the river. Very easy access to beautiful Madison. The owner was easy to get ahold of. Just some things to note. This place is located in a smaller riverside campground. So you do have neighbors in campers right next door. The bed was on the very firm side. I like a little more cushion but we could stand the bed for just a couple nights. There was a lot of noise from the road. We could hear all the noise. Mostly it wasn’t a problem but 5am Monday morning was especially loud. Two of the windows had no coverings at all. I like to make sure there are no creepers and like to close the blinds. That wasn’t possible with two of the windows. I had no where to put my bathroom items. Tooth brush, toothpaste. Very very small bathroom sink. We just used the kitchen sink. Again we loved this spot and can’t wait to come back.

The house was very nice, easy to get to and access, and had a great view.

It was very nice. The kitchen setup was good. The lounging area could be adjusted to focus on the view more. The basics were there but overall comfort was low. Bathroom needed more place to hang and set items.
