Indigo Bay is a luxurious waterfront villa in a high-end gated community, conveniently located in the center of the peninsula. While the villa is in a private community, guests and residents have exclusive access to The Placencia, an internationally recognized beachfront resort, located just across the main road with a gorgeous pool, over-the-water restaurant, fitness center, and super yacht marina! Access to all resort amenities are included with the villa.

The resort is absolute beachfront with a gorgeous white sandy beach leading into the Caribbean. It is located on a calm, shallow bay perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. It has the largest swimming pool in Belize, complete with a swim up tiki bar! It also offers excellent restaurants, including fine dining over the water, and many other nearby options.

The resort offers full concierge services for booking all the must-see tours and adventures, and a boat and captain are on site and ready to take you fishing or snorkeling. During your stay, you’ll have access to free bicycles, kayaks, standup paddle boards, and beach volleyball to enjoy the lush grounds and turquoise ocean.

Indigo Bay offers the best of both worlds with its private villa on the sparkling lagoon, coupled with all the amenities of the oceanfront resort. You’ll enjoy sunrises over the ocean in the morning and sunsets over the lagoon from the comfort of your private veranda. The luxurious villa offers open-concept living with a well-appointed galley kitchen, comfortable living room, and 2 spacious master bedrooms with super comfortable KING-sized beds. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with tiled showers. The living room also has an additional high quality sleeper sofa with a queen memory foam mattress, perfect for extra guests or kids. The villa has a 50” Smart TV and includes free wifi.

Outside, the villa has a manicured outdoor space with a lush lawn overlooking the lagoon where resident dolphins and manatees are regular visitors! You’ll love the tiled veranda just steps from the water with its comfortable patio set, lounge chairs, relaxing hammock, and gas grill. There’s even a custom made fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows and taking in the star-filled skies.

The home is well located, very well furnished, just a few 'speed bumps' to very good restaurants and in a great neighborhood. Large rooms with comfortable furniture in the living room, dinning area and the bedrooms. Kitchen is very well equipped. Loved our stay, should have stayed longer.

Amazing place! Casi made the check in process super easy and quick. The house was well set up with all kinds of amenities. From a fully stocked kitchen for appliances to the outside patio with lots of seating and firewood for the fire pit. Would definitely stay again in this lovely little place if I would come back to Placencia.

The house was a great launchpad for all of our adventures and we had a wonderful trip. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Everything in the house was as described and expected. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, appliances, soaps, games, snorkeling gear, beach toys, and a kayak. Casi was super helpful giving tips about the area and what excursions to try. She was an excellent host and very responsive.

You will not find a better host! She had prepared for everything you could possibly need during your stay and her home is gorgeous and well taken care of. Communication was fantastic, with our host even reaching out with suggestions for things we could do if the weather was less than favorable! The resort amenities available across the road were great! I do wish we had rented a car since there were not many restaurants in walking distance, but other than that it was a wonderful experience!

This was our 6th trip to Belize and this rental home was one of the best for sure. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything a family needs to stay comfortably and operate out of while exploring the area. Having full access to the resort across the street was a huge plus. The owner's and the property manager are excellent hosts and A communicators. Probably the best we have encountered yet. The property and the community is very quiet and relaxing. We spent more time sitting on the edge of the lagoon drinking coffee and reading than we expected. Check in and check out couldn't be easier. I highly recommend Indigo Bay especially if you are traveling with family and want to feel right at home. One thing worth noting is that the lagoon or bay side of Placencia is quite different from others in Belize. The lagoon side is beautifully vast and clean, and not swampy at all like in some areas. The sunsets are fantastic. .

If I could give 6 stars I would

From the moment we got check in instructions to the moment we left, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. In addition to regular check in instructions casi sent a lot of info about belize, suggested tours, places to shop, what to pack etc. the home was a little bigger than described, super clean and great location. We have come to Placencia a few times now and this was one of our best stays. highly suggest Lincoln for a fishing or snorkeling trip that casi suggested as well. He took us out ALL DAY compared to other guides that only take you for 5-6 hours and we caught loads of fish and had fun snorkeling. All in all a great stay.
