About this property
Holiday home off the usual hustle and bustle - an oasis of peace
A modern home for the exclusive use of one lessee - with several seating corners out-side with as much sun and shade as you might wish for: on the terrace, at a secluded pool (4 x 8 metres, not to be overlooked) with a colonnade, in the garden. A new kitchen with every possible equipment. You don't want to prepare dinner? No problem: only a few minutes' walk takes you to a proper restaurant. It takes five minutes to reach the small town Orba by car. There you find the necessary shops and a number of surprisingly good (and cheap) restaurants. On the table in the salon you will find a list with advice for outings into the beautiful surrounding. You will surely experience wonderful, calm days under a southern sun.
Outings into the surrounding: No matter whether you wish to bring your children or rather like a quiet holiday, there is something special for everybody: the caves of stone age times are only five minutes away by car, the safari-park Vergel is waiting for you with its wild animals and a number of various attractions, peaceful trails lead you through the Sierra and through extensive, fragrant orange-plantations. You may taste the native wine-co-operative Jalon's sweet wine 'Mistela'. You will find several jumble-sales in Pedreguer, Jalon, Pego etc. Deep-sea-diving is possible along the rocky coast of Javea and Cape Nao/ Cape Atonio; a breathtakingly exciting route for bikers leads from the coast through the village up the Coll des Tates to Benidorm. Not to mention Benidorm: if you love a bit of variety, you will find it here. On the same route you find the gigantic holiday park 'Terra Mitica' and last but not least: all the beautiful places at the seaside and in the mountains, , where you may lunch and dine peaceful
Sun galore - Europe's Florida: The Costa Blanca is Europe's region most secure of the sun. Because of the sheltering mountains the climate is never too rough, because of the fresh sea wind seldom too hot. A place to enjoy! An old-age pensioner, who lived here in spring, said: 'For ages I haven't felt my rheumatism that little.'
Cheerful - but also historically important : The locals do not only celebrate their numerous Fiestas. In the holy week there are dark processions of deep melancholy. And when the yearly driving of the bulls is under way, young and old is on their legs in all the villages and little towns. The recurring festival 'Moros y Christianos' reminds you of the fierce fights with which the Spanish Christians regained the country from the Moors then living here. A number of intricate waterways and the uncountable little walls along the mountains reminds one of this historical time.
