David was an outstanding host! He responded to my emails very quickly. His house is beautiful, comfortable, in a nice neighborhood. Also, he knew that our plane was landing late and wanted to make sure we had some snacks in the house because we probably would be hungry! Above and beyond!Just a great experience overall.

Awesome vacation at Sunshine Retreat!

Our stay at Sunshine Retreat was all we hoped it would be. The house was beautifully decorated with a bright warm atmosphere. The host provided everything we needed to have a wonderful visit in South Florida. I would recommend this home to anyone coming down to Ft. Lauderdale

The house was extremely clean and our Host made sure that he did everything possible to ensure that our stay was comfortable. I don’t plan to stay anywhere else tbh. The location was very convenient for us as the places we needed to visit were all within close proximity.

Perfect home for family stay

Home was absolutely pristine and well stocked with amenities. Kitchen has all the necessary tools to prepare meals, so we didn’t have fo eat out savings money. 2 full bathrooms meant teens could have their own. Owner very accommodating with requests for beach accesories. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Would return.

I give it a 10. It has a nice beat and you can dance to it.

Fantastic home in a great location. Was perfect for our excursion to Ft Lauderdale. We stayed for 3 weeks and it was wonderful. We were in town for Pickleball at The Fort, and the location was excellent, about a 45 min walk and a 7 min drive.The home is beautiful and clean. The kitchen is very well appointed, definitely made for people who like to cook. Gas stove(!), sharp knives (!), good layout with large work station on the island, which still has room for family to sit and chat. Neighborhood was walkable and eclectic. Shopping center with grocery, multiple resturants, and stores within 15m. Easy on-off to the highway, quick trip to the beach or downtown. Communication with the host was prompt and responsive when needed, but didn't need much. would rent again

Beautiful house + great location

We loved staying here for our family vacation. The house is beautiful, clean & had practically everything we needed. The pack n’ play was perfect for our youngest, which Dave delivered quick as can be on arrival! The backyard was the perfect spot to hangout and relax while the kids were sleeping. The kitchen is a dream with a big island and is nice and open to the living room. Dave even had plates and utensils for the kids which came in handy. The showers had amazing water pressure (you know this is important ladies!) and the bathtub was perfect for the kids to splash around in. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. My kids loved to walk back to the dock every morning to see the boats and the water. You seriously cannot beat the location. A 10min drive to the beach and all things downtown Fort Lauderdale. So many great restaurants nearby. There is even a park about 2 blocks away that we would walk to with the kids. Also, cannot forget to mention it’s only a 5-10min drive to the airport! Dave was amazing to book with and so easy to communicate with. We can’t thank him enough and will most definitely be back someday! 😊

We enjoy riding our bikes, kayaking, and boating, and we enjoy being so close to the downtown area and the Broward Performing Arts Center! So much action minutes from our home, yet we enjoy the peaceful relaxation when we decide to stay home.

We are within minutes to all major attractions in Fort Lauderdale. The neighborhood is quiet, family friendly, and has access to the New River. Whole Foods Market, Publix, and Winn Dixie within 1.5 miles.

House is newly renovated with impact doors and windows. Very clean. Open floor plan. Cozy, private back yard with grill. Owner lives nearby for your convenience.
