Excellent for Akureyri

The flat was as described and very centrally located, within easy walk to sites of interest, shops and restaurants. It was well equipped and we loved staying there. It was quiet during the week, even being in the downtown area. The only slightly negative remark would be the type of top mattress in the main bedroom, body forming foam is a terrible idea and we would recommend changing it to a more natural firmer one. Allergies can arise from such a mattress, even though it may feel comfortable for short stays.
