House was big, perfect for our family of 6! Everyone had their own space! We loved the Blackstone grill, hot tub, and game room. The kids were well entertained! The host was very responsive, kind, and helpful! We had a great time!
This is a beautiful property in a quiet serene setting. It is conveniently located near many wineries, breweries and other attractions in central Virginia. The house has many accommodations to make your stay both comfortable and fun. The owner has excellent communication.
We had a wonderful 4 days at Twin Ponds. The home is very spacious and kitchen is well equipped. The beds were super comfy. The back deck with the Brickstone and gas firepit are great. The chairs are new and comfortable. The hot tub was fun for our family. Our host Chris was very helpful and made our stay perfect.
House was wonderful. The deck was a great place to socialize with our group, as was the dining room table. House was well supplied with everything we needed. The game room needs to be updated as several items were missing pieces (air hockey, ping pong, etc) but we were so busy hardly made it down there. Rooms were large and bathrooms were modern. Overall a wonderful home.
We had such a wonderful stay here and can’t say enough good things about this home. It’s beautifully decorated and thoughtfully set up with everything you could possibly need. The game room was a huge hit, and the selection of board games was a nice bonus. The setting is peaceful and quiet, perfect for getting away from it all. We all loved the hot tub. We especially appreciated how dark it gets at night, which was ideal for stargazing. The location is also great, with easy access to Nellysford for dining (Belties- yum!) and the Nelson 151 beverage trail for exploring local wineries and breweries. We truly didn’t want to leave and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
The house layout was great for our group. We loved the neighborhood and proximity to Lake Monacan, the Golf Club and restaurant. Our host was very responsive as well!
