Welcome to our family's forever retreat. WIth panoramic views of the mountains, our 5 bed, 4 bath log cabin lodge is available to rent to groups of up to 16 for the first time. Dream View Lodge boasts two giant decks, a hot tub, outdoor grill, fire-tables and dining table, indoor fireplace, theater, arcade, pool table, bar, spacious, stocked kitchen, and dining area, fenced yard and private trails on 25 acres. Dream View lodge looks out on the most unforgettable views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that you're ever likely to find. We completely remodeled the lodge in 2023, doubled the deck space, expanded the views from every room, and filled our lodge with homey, luxury furniture and amenities. Each king bedroom has a view of the park, a memory foam mattress, and Roku TV. Two additional semi-private sleeping areas have queen sleeper sofas. Two bedrooms have spectacular en-suite bathrooms. We have a large, well-stocked kitchen with two cooktops, and a grill with a view. Two large decks face the mountain views, while two smaller decks face the trees in back, where there is also a fenced yard. We have a Deco movie theater, a full arcade, bar, pool table, hot tub, board games, yard games, books and more. The cabin boasts two outdoor fire tables, and a wood burning fireplace–and while this is a place to get away from it all, with fast, reliable Starlink internet, you won’t have to worry about being disconnected.


DECKS AND LOUNGE: With comfy couch seating on both levels, a hot tub, rocking chairs, dining area and more, the decks are the perfect place to enjoy a meal, play corn hole, giant Jenga, connect 4 or just take a nap. The regular breeze keeps the lower deck cool, while the sun shines consistently on the upper deck. From here you’ll have unobstructed views of the Smoky Mountain National Park- no cabin or rooftop in sight. By day you can watch the sun traverse the mountains from sunrise till sunset. At night the southern sky, mountains and milky way open up before you. Sit by one of the fire tables, or stargaze from the hot tub.

INSIDE, ON THE MAIN LEVEL, plush couches sit in front of large windows and a wood-burning fireplace in the huge two story living room. You see the mountains through the glass- or watch the 65” TV. Connect to our stereo, or just cuddle up. Sit at the bar or play pool, all here on the main level. Play games, watch TV, cook a meal all with space for everyone. Settle in for a great vacation. Many families tell us they never left the cabin the whole vacation.

Downstairs, the fun continues with a Deco inspired movie theater, and a stocked arcade with pinball, foosball, shuffleboard and video games.


KITCHEN: The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals for your group. It has plenty of counter space, an island with seating, two cooktops, an oven, dishwasher and pantries for plenty of storage. We've provided all the dishes, glassware, silverware and cookware you are likely to need. Even kids plates and utensils. Enjoy your meals at the indoor dining area or bar seating, or outside on the decks and outside tables.

BEDROOMS: Our 5 bedrooms have king beds with new memory foam mattresses, Roku TV's and views of the mountains. There is a twin bunk room off of the upstairs master bedroom- a good fit for families. The luxurious upstairs master suite has a private balcony, and a spectacular double shower that looks out over the park. The main floor suite has its own ensuite bathroom with rain shower- also with views of the mountains. Our loft “library” doubles as a seventh sleeping area, with a blue velvet queen sleeper sofa. The theater also has a queen sleeper, making an 8th sleeping area.

LOWER LEVEL GAME ROOM: Go head to head on one of our several game consoles, Buck Hunter, foosball, pinball, or shuffleboard.

BAR & POOL TABLE: Challenge each other to a game of pool on the main level, or enjoy a drink at the bar.

MOVIE THEATER: The Deco inspired theater has a grand entrance, reclining rocker seats, sofa (queen sleeper) and a 75 inch TV, the theater comfortably accommodates 12 - more if you're cozy.

HOT TUB: Our hot tub will be clean and hot for you when you arrive.

BATHROOMS. All four full bathrooms have showers, one has a tub and two have giant, luxurious rain showers. The upstairs shower has to be seen to be believed.

LAUNDRY: New, free washer-dryer.

FENCED YARD: There is a fenced space in back off of the kitchen back deck.

AMENITIES: We provide a starter set of coffee filters, body wash, soap, trash bags, dishwasher liquid & laundry detergent, toilet paper & paper towels. You may need to purchase more during your stay. There is no mid-stay cleaning service included, but trash pick-up can be arranged for an additional fee. Roku TVs in every room. There is no cable, but you can sign into any service through the Roku.

FREE HIGH-SPEED Wi-FI- Brand new Starlink internet. Enough for every device you could possibly bring

ACCESS DETAILS: Check in at 4PM, Check out at 10 AM. The front door is equipped with an electronic keypad. Guests are required to sign the rental agreement and schedule the security deposit hold to receive the door code. You will get a personalized door code the day before check-in, no need to meet anyone for keys.

ROADS: We are just a few miles off of the 321 parkway, west of Gatlinburg. As you’d imagine, you don’t get these views without a bit of climbing. The roads are paved and relatively flat until you get to our road- Shady Gap Way. At this point it is a well-maintained gravel and dirt road that heads up the hillside. There are no steep drop-offs, and it isn't particularly windy. Our driveway is paved, and steep. it is not windy or "cliffy" at all. We recommend a 4WD vehicle, though we do it regularly in a Honda Civic, and most of our neighbors get around in golf carts. If you're dreaming of wide, flat, paved roads, this is not the cabin for you.

Cell service can be spotty in this entire region, we highly recommend you download the maps of the area for offline use prior to travel, just in case service is lost.

PRIVATE PARKING: There is plenty of space in the driveway and turnaround for your vehicles

ACCESSIBILITY: There are quite a few steps to get to the main level. The lower level is accessible- which is where the lower deck, two bedrooms, an accessible bathroom, game room, theater and lower deck are.

CLEANING PRACTICES: We have one of the absolute best cleaning teams in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest checks in. Surfaces are disinfected, bedding is changed and washed, and the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled.

SOME THINGS TO NOTE: ❗️Guest access Instructions will be sent after the balance is paid in full and the rental agreement signed, and damage/security deposit information filled out.❗️
► MUST be 25 or older to book, sign rental agreement and schedule security deposit hold within 48 hrs of booking.

► NO SMOKING. A mandatory additional carpet cleaning fee will be charged for any animals on site.

► PETS. Two pet maximum. $150.00 per pet fee. Dogs Only. No other pets. No puppies. Guests must sign the pet addendum. and assume financial responsibility for any damage due to pets ie cleaning, repair and replacement due to scratching, peeing/ excrement in the cabin etc. Violation of rules are grounds for eviction and loss of security deposit. ►SERVICE ANIMALS- For service animals, we use the FAA service animal form. Animals may not be left unattended in the home.

►SECURITY CAMERA: There are security cameras on the front porch, and over the entrances for everyone’s protection- all pointed away from the cabin itself. The house is often unoccupied between guests. Touching or tampering with the cameras is a violation of your rental agreement. If you touch or tamper with the cameras, you will be asked to leave the property immediately.

►VIEW: Amazing views. In the fall, it is an explosion of colors and you can see them all as far as the eye can see. In the summer, the leaves sway around the cabin, and far away across the mountains. In the winter you can see more deeply into the forests around us.

►ROADS: See above. Our paved driveway is at the end of a gravel road. Our driveway is steep. If you're dreaming of wide, flat paved roads this is NOT the cabin for you.

►ROOF: The roof is metal with no attic. If a squirrel crawls on the roof or if it is raining, you will hear it, no need to be alarmed.

►BUGS: While we have a regular pest control program the cabin is in an area that can have some pests(insects). This is the forest, and while the trees sit back from the house quite a bit, nature is filled with creatures. It is possible to get 4-6-8 legged or winged visitors both outside and inside. This cannot be 100% prevented. *We do not refund for issues with bugs or forest creatures.* When staying at the cabin, NEVER leave food items in the vehicles, NEVER leave food, leftovers, or trash outside. Trash should be bagged & locked in bear-resistant trash containers (provided).

► Animals: There are bears, coyotes, deer, squirrels, owls and other animals in the area, & often on the property. Be still and you might see them.

► Excessive cleaning charge - $300 Your cleaning fee assumes you have followed the check-out instructions. Trash is bagged, pots and pans are washed & returned & dishes are washed in dishwasher. Grill was cared for during stay and is reasonably clean. The house has been used, but there is no damage or extensive cleaning required to prepare for the next guest. If this is not the case and there is excessive cleaning required, an additional $300 will be deducted from your security deposit.
