What an amazing, little gem in the woods! We had a fantastic stay! The property was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent throughout. The location was perfect — Mt Rainier and many other places to visit in the vicinity. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for a great experience!
Our family loved this little cabin! So cute and simple and had what we needed! We felt like we could have seen wildlife walk right by the living room windows it was so secluded. It was the best little retreat!
Easy to find, super clean and some thoughtful amenities. The view is a peaceful and beautiful forest through a wall of windows. Wow!So close to both the Steven’s and Longmire entrances. But Sunrise is about the same as Longmire. (We liked Longmire for Copper Creek and souvenirs). Packwood was super convenient as a home base. Would come again!
The cabin is so amazing. The place is better than the photo listed. The location is accessible. There are 3 full bed, a fire pit and a bbq grill, a fire stove in the house to keep the place warm. Full kitchen to cook meals. The aesthetic impressive. Definitely would stay again if I visit Mt rainier.
the host was very communicative! The cabin was so cute and clean. it had everything we needed. Only wished the cabin had AC, but the temperature cool down after midnight. I would come back for winter time since it has fire pit outdoor. enjoyed the stay!!
This was a cute little place, off the main road enough to feel like it was in the sticks but not so far that it actually was; it’s really only about a 3-minute drive from the main part of town and very close to the grocery store in case you need a few forgotten things. Location in relation to Mt. Rainier was excellent, we couldn’t have asked for better. The cabin is a bit old which is fine except for two things: the first was the dishwasher. It might’ve mentioned it in the listing, but we either didn’t remember or didn’t look. The dishwasher does not work and we did not want to wash a bunch of dishes for our group, but running to the grocery store to buy paper products was quick and easy. The other was the creaky floors. The bedroom is right under the loft and every time someone in the loft bed moved the floor creaked and was much louder in the bedroom. With four giggling girls in the loft and my own creaking bed I had a very poor night’s sleep. I’m not a great sleeper on trips like this anyway and what is to be done about creaky beds and floors? If you can sleep anywhere and bring some ear plugs, you should have no problem. If you sleep in the loft or the sofa bed you’ll also need an eye mask if morning light bothers you since there are no curtains. The awesome thing about this place was the woods - we had 4 11-yr old girls and they loved to explore those lovely woods, they had such a hard time leaving them, even for Mt Rainier!
Quaint and cozy and serene. Loves the surrounding trees, fire pit, picnic table, and deck.
The weather was perfect to sit outside all day❤️. Only complaint was the hot water ran out when taking showers. 😬
Everything was clean, even though when you looked out the back windows, you were totally alone, it did not seem isolated.
I could have parked myself on the back porch and breathed in the clean air for days.
Thank you!
Loved staying here, uber clean and great experience. Loved the fire pit and the wood burning stove. You can tell this place is loved by the owners, super clean and vintage, walking trail right off the back deck. We saw more Elk than people while here: 2 Elk, Zero people. It was awesome, would stay again. Fit a family of 5 just perfectly.
